These days require Christians to have greater faith.

Folks ,
Is it just me or are the rest of you starting to see our rights slowly being taken away. I'm seeing more and more depression and fellow Christians falling and abiding into sin and luke warmness. The Word says in the last days there will be a shaking, a great falling away. So how do we stand..We stand by faith. Personally , my old way of morning devotions and a few verses and prayer is not getting the job done for me like it should be. There are serious strongholds to be brought down and oppressed to be set free. Our warfare is not with flesh and blood but it is with principalities in high and dark places. We need to rise up to the bar and wholey yield ourselves to God let never before ..obedience in the 'Small things" having ears to hear what the Spirit is saying and abiding in his presence.This walk is not cheap. "If any man will come after me let him deny himself taking up his cross daily. He that will seek to save his life shall find it."" For where my servant is ..there I am." To find true life..true peace ..true joy ..true faith we must die to self.

Mat 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this [which is done] to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

Here Jesus says if ye have faith and doubt not you will do wonders! What are you doubting? That Jesus is the son of God. NO! Can you stand before God and say that you are clean and holy! If you can you will know it!

1Jo 3:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
1Jo 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, [then] have we confidence toward God.

THIS IS FAITH DEFINED! If you can stand before God with a clean conscience you have faith. BE HONEST WITH YOURSELVES BECAUSE GOD KNOWETH ALL THINGS!

Hbr 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

And what happens when we have a clean consience and go before God?

1Jo 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

He hears us!

Hbr 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

It is the only way we can go to him! Having the boldness that we have been made clean! In the old test if the priest wasnt clean when he went to God he was pulled out by a rope! Now we have the luxury of Jesus ignoring us if we are not prepared!

Jam 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
Jam 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

Chuck, what you're describing sounds a lot like the 7 churches in Revelation. From what I see all around us, it truly looks like we are in the last days. Nothing else has to be done before Christ's return and the events that are - and have been -taking place all over the world recently seem to back it more imminent than ever before. Now is the time that people should be running to the Lord before it's too late, but that's not happening . . . and it wasn't predicted to either.

Yes sir Dave,
It seems like there is magor deception sweeping across the 'Christian population' and many are flat out powerless. Fact the WOrd says,:If the righteous are scarely saved where shall that leave the sinner and ungodly?" It also speaks of a big falling away at the end..and the love of many waxing cold. I know last week the Lord spoke to my heart like it will take "Great faith " from here out..meaning totally devouted to God..as Abraham ..a friend of God. Love , faith and obedience all go hand in hand.

When there was total darkness in Egypt, there was light in Goshen. Those that do know their God, shall be strong an do exploits.
I am expecting a swift and mighty revival in the last days. Not a revival of numbers, but a revival of power and the deminstration of The Spirit of God. During which time there will be a time of mockery and persucation from the child of the bond woman against the child of promise. The deceived man made church will seek to kill the true believers and think that they do God service. Gods witnesses will be killed and lie in the street until the Spirit of life enter and God gathers them in. JMO
The division of the true believers and those playing church will rapidly grow greater and greater.

I agree as well...fact I'm seeing it..It breaks my heart and I have a burden for many that I know. The Spirt and the Flesh will always be at odds. They can not co exist. They are contrary one to the other. Thus the reason one MUST be born again.
