It is an Independent Fundamental Baptist church. We have no constitution or church doctrine. We only go by what the Bible teaches, and ultimately will individually have to answer to God for our understanding, or lack thereof, of the truths of the Bible, and for what we did with those truths.
I have never in my wildest dreams concidered myself a Baptist other than just being one who baptizes. I have always called myself a Oneness Apostolic christian. As most of you brethern know, I have been involved in several, rather heated duscissions with some of you baptist brethern concerning the idea that ones salvation is based upon the principle of ones knowledge and understanding of Gods will and ways, coupled with obedience to that Devine will of God.
I maintain that one doesn't have to successfully complete a series of studies, tests, rules, or requirements to be saved, BUT rather he must be obediebt to God in what God had given him until the time of his death. It isn't a matter of how much, or of how little one has been obedient, It is simply that he has been obedient to the best of his knowledge until that point in time.
One must run his race unto the end. Each individual must run the same distance which is one lifetime. No more and no less, just his lifetime. Where ever God should lead during that lifetime, he MUST follow. The one whose lifetime is one year will see, hear, learn, and understand the revelations of God that was given in his one year lifetime. One whose lifetime is 50 years will be held accountable for all the things which God has spoken, shown, and revealed unto him during his ONE lifetime. A 50 year lifetime and a 1 year lifetime surely want lead unto the exact same knowledge and understanding. Therefore to whom much is given, much is required. Also to whom little has been given, little is required. Every man shall give account OF HIMSELF unto God.
So now, which am I?? A oneness Apostolic, or an Independant Fundimental Baptist?

From what you wrote in your opening thread, you don't sound very different from me . . . and, as you know, I am Independent Baptist. We place more emphasis on God's grace (through our faith) to get us to Heaven, but we all agree that we must still strive to obey God's will for our lives and live as obediently and sinlessly as possible.
