It's funny though..I read the same exact scriptures from my Bible and yet without the condemning attitude..not sure if you realize you are coming across this way Ray but whe I read the Word..I get charged...not beat up..
Like it or not my friend..we are saved by grace..what a man does with that grace is between him and his Lord..we just need to make sure we are not being a stumbling block to others and that we are making our calling sure..I for one would never group all of God's servants together and saying they are hypocrites simply because they are part of a denonmination..actually I wouldn't condemn any..behold the judge standeth at the door..we are not called to judge but to serve.

How am I making you stumble by saying do not sin anymore? If anything I am taking stumbling blocks out from in front of you! How is that coming across as condeming? I simply posted what Jesus said. Was he condeming? You are right! I work for the county jail and its a great place to spread the good news! Most of them that I have an opportunity to talk to understand what I say. They see the theological bull being preached doesnt have any substance to help them in a time of need. The grace I preach does! It helps them overcome meth addiction not have an excuse to stay in it. It helps them overcome addiction to porn not an excuse to stay in it. They are on rock bottom and willing to submit to God and humble themselves to the Word of God and become someone different. That is what God wants! I dont judge anyone and judgement means determining where they will spend eternity. If they are not walking in the truth I will have discussion with them for sometime. If they dont submit to the Word of God I will remove myself from them and not have any further to do with them. I have fullfilled my duty at that point in time. That is scriptural and not judging. That is avoiding WOLVES! I am not touching God's annointed if they dont know God. Many are called but few are chosen! 6But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. 7Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
This scripture you posted above is causing your brother to stumble! It says if you do something that causes your brother to sin you are better off dead! How do I make you sin by saying dont sin? Check out #1, a, b, b1,b2!

Every man and women's Bible has the Spirit in it..There are times i get convicted Ray but after 35 years of service I've learned to yield to God..Most of the time the Word feeds me, brings hope , instructing in righteousness ,refreshing but certainly I have times of deep conviction as well..but the Spirit is in the LIVING seed..the Word is living ..His Word is Spirt. his Word is perfect.
In Summary, A. Ray ..you have called Theology a bad thing..Theo meaning God and logy meaning the study of.. a. Studing about God is a good thing. B. You have stated that all churches are hypocrites especially Baptist. b. you don't have a clue what each church in Amercia is preaching ..that .001 percent on TV is a very low percentage. C. That "My Bible doesn't have The Spirit in it.." We have some very serious error here..our conversation needs to take a break for a season...and another good reason why one needs the councel of others and not just a law unto themselves. There is alot of poor translations of the Word floating around. You have used alot of scripture that I cant find the version of and I looked in over a 12 versions. King James and American Standard are about as good as it gets. NIV gets it right part of the time. Then you have to break the words down into greek most of the time to get the true meaning. You posted John 6:63.God's Word is Spirit. That is correct! But you must also use the Word of God as a whole and it says this! 1Jo 5:6This is the one who came by water and blood-Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.
The spirit is also truth! If the truth is not received from the pages of the bible we have to consider that the doctrince is not sound. Just because you have the Word infront of you doesnt mean you are getting the true meaning! If we see someone not in sound doctrine we are to do this! Tts 1:9He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

Ray ,I wasn't trying to be a wise guy. I got a very powerful word from the Lord last night..at about 2:00AM ..My reply was an outcome of that word. One day in the future I will share the nugget I got..

One sign of a true wolf, is he cometh not to the light. A real wolf is like a roaring lion. He is only seeking whom he may devore. He doesn't spend much time with the strong and healthy. His prey is the weak and sickly. Wolves are pack animals, needing the support of others in order to stay in the fight.
Spiritual wolves are not concerned with the truth that sets men free, and all is viewed as "winning and Losing".
Wolves are not interested in the souls of men, they are more interested in leading the pack. When you fing a "lone" wolf, he is one who has been kicked out of the pack! He isn't a lone wolf by choice! He also isn't a "lone" wolf because he is better than others wolves. He isn't a loner because of his spiritual purity, aboundant love, great patience, purity, godliness, or doctrinal excellence.
So keep your head up Brother.
