Like I said before, I can't base my beliefs on "what if's". You never answered my reply the first time you used a similar example. "What if" a person heard the word, but hadn't had a chance to really let it sink in, therefore they didn't fully believe--what happens to them? Or, "what if" a person believes, but not long enough to truly repent--what then? How about they believe, repent, but for some reason can't find someone to confess Christ to before they fall over dead--are they saved, regardless of what the Bible tells us we must do to be saved? Where is Snooky's cut off point, and where is the scripture(s) that verify it?

Chad, you continue to change what I have posted, to the point of appearing to be deliberate twisting. Could you copy and post the above referenced qoute?

Quote;
You can choose "what if" if you want. I'll choose "what's said", by God, in the Bible.

I have given a multitude of references to the scriptures, What ones were mis-quoted? Do we live by all of the scripture or just what suits our fancy?

quote;
Another "what if". God tells us what to do. We won't be asked for more than we can give. We should work more towards doing what God commands, rather than working on excuses as to why we didn't.

Another refusal to answer, I quess I will have to ask another question and see if if will justify an answer.

quote;
Do you know of an instance where someone was earnestly trying to obey, but died before they actually could? Have you even heard first-hand of this happening? I haven't, but if it were to happen, God will be a righteous judge. It's not my decision to say what would happen to that person--I don't know.

Thank you for an answer! Its not your decision, God is the Judge, and God is righteous! We had a long road to travel to arrive at this view that I had set forth early on, But we finally agree.

Again, could you point out what I twisted or changed? I really have no idea what you are talking about. I simply used your example. You said "suppose", I said "what if"--same difference.

Again, I used your example of giving a child certain duties to fulfill. That's not scripture.

I guess I could go back and count all the questions I asked that you refused to touch, but I don't see this as some kind of contest.

I've never said or implied anything different. Care to go back and answer my questions?

Chad, Yor didn't use my example, you reworded it, therefore it becomes your example. Just like the scripture, if anything is added, or taken away from, it becomes another gospel. Use my examples all you wilsh, just keep them MY examples, and in the same context that I gave them.

Ok, I should have said a similar example. Regardless, my point doesn't change and your accusations towards me aren't based on fact. I have not excluded, re-worded, or twisted any scriptures, and you have ignored or avoided a multitude of my questions while chastising me for not giving you the answers you wanted. I ask for examples, you just reply with more accusations. I've been down that road before, and know where it leads. I have no desire or reason to travel it yet again.

I really have much more important things to tend to right now. I have no interest in arguing, and you seem to be itching to start something. It's going to have to be with someone other than me.
