Here is a few scriptures involving imputed righteousness!
Mat 3:11"I baptize you with [fn] water for repentance. But after me will come one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.
Here is where we have to start. We are going to be baptized by Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with fire. What is this fire? Its not the Holy Spirit they are seperate as seen in this vs.
1Pe 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
How we have conducted our Christian walk is going to be tested. It is the trial of our faith. It is the trial of our obedience! When we are baptized with fire or the tribulation our work will be shown for what it is!
1Pe 2:7 Unto you therefore which believe [he is] precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, 1Pe 2:8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, [even to them] which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.
Unto those who have built their house on truths Jesus is precious. To those who live in sin and disobedience Jesus is rejected. He becomes a stumbling block even to the who claim to be Christians because they here the Word and would rather fulfill their fleshly desires and live in sin.
Here is where we get into imputed righteousness! Isa 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves: Who has made an agreement with death and hell. How about lets not live accourding to God's Word but lets justifiy our sins and cover them with whitewash that we are saved even though we sin! What is the overflowing Scourge? Its tribulation or the baptism of fire! Isa 28:16¶Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. This is Jesus. He is the corner stone of our foundation. He is the Word. He is the truth. Isa 28:17Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place. When we are judged we will have to line up to the corner stone. When a house is built it is started from a corner. Jesus is the corner of our spiritual house. Then a line is layed to make sure everything is perfectly straight. The a plummet is hung on a string to make sure the wall goes up straight and is sitting pefectly upon the foundation. When we are judged we will have to line up with the Word of God! If we have hid our self in the lies of once saved always saved or imputed righteousness or even though we sin we are saved. Tribulation and the baptism of fire will show it for what it is! Isa 28:18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it. God is going to show that he is God. The lie of the devil that you are safe in your sin will not survive tribulation and you will be destroyed by it. Eze 13:10" 'Because they lead my people astray, saying, "Peace," when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash, Who lead people astray saying peace when there is no peace? How about you are saved even though you will sin until the end. Where is there peace in sin. Only destruction and death! They teach people who accecpt Christ and are trying to learn the truth that it is ok to be in sin and cover up their sin with whitewash and lies! Eze 13:11therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones hurtling down, and violent winds will burst forth. Those who live in the lies and cover their sin with whitewash are going to die. How by the tribulation or fire seen above! Eze 13:12When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, "Where is the whitewash you covered it with?" When tribulation comes and you are in agony and being trampled on people are going to ask you why your lies and whitewash are not saving you. Eze 13:13" 'Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury. Tribulation is wrath! Eze 13:14I will tear down the wall you have covered with whitewash and will level it to the ground so that its foundation will be laid bare. When it [fn] falls, you will be destroyed in it; and you will know that I am the LORD. God is going to show that he is God and you will die in your sins when your work is show for what it is!Need More! OK! Jer 23:16This is what the Lord Almighty says: "Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord. What would a false hope be? Maybe you are saved even though you are in sin! Jer 23:17They keep saying to those who despise me, 'The Lord says: You will have peace.' And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts they say, 'No harm will come to you.' Those who dont know God but think they do say peace and no harm will come to you. You are safe in your sin. But the wages of sin is death! They say this out of a calloused heart that is not in submission to God! Jer 23:18But which of them has stood in the council of the Lord to see or to hear his word? Who has listened and heard his word? Faith come by hearing and hearing by the Word of God! Jer 23:19See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked. Jer 23:20The anger of the Lord will not turn back until he fully accomplishes the purposes of his heart. In days to come you will understand it clearly. Tribulation and testing by fire! Jer 23:21I did not send these prophets, yet they have run with their message; I did not speak to them, yet they have prophesied. Jer 23:22But if they had stood in my council, they would have proclaimed my words to my people and would haveturned them from their evil ways and from their evil deeds.If you are speaking from God and standing in his council the people will turn from their evil ways instead of staying sinful!
O.K. Thats enough for now. Hope this blesses someone and gives them strenghth and enouragement to press on and overcome. Peace, Joy and much grace!

Amen, Brother. It's not enough to meet Christ on the road. You must walk with Him every step of the way, up to the end, carrying His cross if you must.

Impute= Concider as belonging: attribute;charge to a person. Latin= to reckon
Romans 4:11, 22, 23, 24. But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, IF we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead. It shall be reckoned for righteousness. Shall be an attribute to them.
Yet are we to sin some every day while God is imputing unto us his righteousness??
Romans 5:13 But sin is not imputed when there is no law.
James 2:23 Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness.
Ones righteousness is not of himself, (one can scream works if he wants) ones righteousness is as it was with Abraham, imputed or counted, reckoned for righteousness. One is not righteous nor unrighteous by works. By Grace are ye saved, THROUGH FAITH, it is not of works, it IS THE GIFT OF GOD. Holiness, righteousness, Godliness, perfection, ect isn't earned, it is the gift of God.
I find it strange that those who are so against works, are at the same time equally as fervent against Grace, or imputed righteousness. The message seems to be, one is saved from sin through grace, therefore must sin every day because imputed righteousness is an excercise in futitility. I just can't seem to get all the peices of the puzzle in place.

The same Paul who wrote this:
Romans 4:23-24
Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; [24] But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
Also wrote this:
Romans 6:1-4
What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [2] God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? [3] Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [4] Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Romans 4:23-24
Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; [24] But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead;
Yep, that is one that already quoted, just wondered how it works if we are to sin every day?
May be you can explain it to me. The same bible, said that whosoever is born of God cannot sin because his seed remaineth in him. It declared that whosoever sinneth hath not seen God, neither known him. Does it mean that imputed righteousness is less than Pure, Holy, Righteous, and Godly?
Is there such a thing as a saved, but yet lost condition? Are there saved sinners, and lost saints? How would we determine between the two?

Jesus said, "he who stands firm to the end will be saved" Mark 13:13.
Live Life in such a way that those who do not know Christ will come to know Him because they know you
Some on here say one can lose their salvation, but how can one undo what Christ did for them.
Lets look at this. Paul is writing to believers here and in chapter 5 he is telling of one who is sleeping with his step-mother. He tells that God can and will take him out and let Satan have his body, but that his spirit will be saved.
1 Corinthians 5 1It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. 2And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. 3For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed, 4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, 5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
quote;
Some on here say one can lose their salvation, but how can one undo what Christ did for them.
The issue isn't about undoing anything that Christ has done. The issue is trying to make Christ honor our wishes and ideals and force Christ to do something that he has never done.
qoute;
He tells that God can and will take him out and let Satan have his body, but that his spirit will be saved.
Read it again, Paul gave instructions to the church at Corinth to do this thing. Paul didn't say anything about what God was going to do with him.
As you so often speak, when the word is rightly devided, it becomes very clear. Rightly deviding, doesn't involve adding to. or taking away from. It means simply in faith beliving it because God has said it.
Where is that one scripture in all the scripture that declares that security of the soul is unconditional.
He that endureth unto the end, is meaningless double talk and evidence that God doesn't know his own plan, IF secutity is unconditional, eternally, bestowed upon sinners.

You have completly lost it.
Was the church going to kill him or take him away?
And as for losing ones salvation, you need to read Ephesians 1:13, and Romans 8:38-39 just for starters.
