Point is, the man was sinning, but the bible plainly states his soul would be saved.

Sarge; Go read it again. I think you need one to guide your reading. The scripture did not say his soul would be saved. Sarge said that. The bible said that his soul May be saved. May be, and has been, are miles apart. Stop adding your interpretations and you may come to know what God is saying.
