Thank you ..this was the honest answer I wanted.I didn't need the rest of the info..I already checked it out. { -: Here's some possible reasons why there are no dates in the Bible..

A. God does not really want any to perish..but ALL men to repent..This entire world would chamge if His people would repent." A few times in the history of the Bible He was going to bring severe punishment..THEN the people repented and he held off on His judgement.

B. God wants his people to trust Him and live by faith..we have many unknowns yet..we choose to trust Him..We serve a secret God...but He does share secrets with those who worship Him in secret..but as far as a date..God has said NO man no angel nor Jesus knows that date...that would include the Mayans or fortuneteller.

NOW..since so many beleive the recent stuff..it would cause me to beleive when Satan will "Show signs in the sky that even could decieve the elect IF POSSILBE " He will have a huge following. I wonder who our new Nov. president will be for Nov. 2012.

??? God shares his secrets, but he doesn't share his secrets?? And I think the words quoted were spoken by Jesus, so Jesus must be God. Does God declare that he alone knows something, yet he himself really doesn't know it at all? Is there another God somewhere? If so, what is his name? Very confusing stuff to say the least.
