A Christian view point about 12- 21-12

Dear HNI folks, I don't watch T.V. but have been hearing alot about this subject..I've even seen it on here before..If it's true it will effect all of us.Here is my view...

Many people believe differently than I do. I'm not about to mock anyone who expresses those differences courteously. However I do wish some folks would be careful with the term "we Christians." It would be more accurate to say "some Christians," since we Christians do not all share precisely the same beliefs or have the same attitude with regard to the Bible.

We should live our lives as though Christ was coming tomorrow, the date to me is irrelevant. But for us who call themselves Christian we know that the Bible says no one knows the time or the hour when He returns, not even the angels. So I pay little attention to the date.

Perfectly reasonable explanation. Thanks Chuck. I sort of feel like I should remind folks now and then that all Christians don't see things the same way. In the real world I'm in the majority, but here on HNI, I may be in the minority at least among people who discuss religion.

It's hard to tell because some people on the Political and Off Season forums object strenuously to religion topics outside of the Religion forum.

I agree, I'm surprised this hasn't been moved!!! I really hope it doesn't I'm not ever going back to the religion forum again.. Too hostile over there, and they call themselves Christians!

Interesting view and political. Saw the other day that Obama and the US are being advised to get more religious concerning foreign affairs.

Yep. Obama better start praying that he doesn't have to make any true decisions about foreign matters. We can see how good he is on Domestic, lets pray the rest of the world doesn't smell the blood in the water.
