Two monks...
were proceeding back to their monastery at Edo when they came upon a creek swollen with muddy water from a recent rain. On the bank was a beautiful young girl dressed in a very pretty hand-embroidered kimono obviously trying to find away to get across without ruining her clothes. The older monk picked her up, carried her across and set her down on the other side.
She thanked him, he nodded and the two monks continued on their way. The younger monk was silent while they walked. As they neared the monastery the older monk turned to the younger and said "something is bothering you." "Yes" said the younger, "we monks are not permitted to touch a female and yet you carried that young girl across the creek in your arms."
"But" the older monk replied, "I set her down on the other side. You are still carrying her."

I heard Jesus He drank wine and I bet we'd get along just fine.
He could calm a storm and heal the blind and
I bet He'd understand a heart like mine.
