Pastor Reckart has preached since 1972 that Acts 2:38 is the only plan of salvation that is by grace through faith
Some preach Acts 2:38 of commandment
Some preach Acts 2:38 as obedience
Some preach Acts 2:38 for contention to fight with trinitarians over Matthew 28:19
But God is raising up an new generation of young men who will preach it correctly as salvation by grace through faith

Amen Snooky, good post. I've been thinking lately of how folk embrace whole doctrines of a denomination or a teacher without having a clear grasp of the truth of it. I've been guilty of that myself. We would be better off to come to understand truth thru due diligence and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Folk want to appear knowledgable . . .nobody wants to appear ignorant or to say "I don't know" . . .but IMO it's better to arrive at truth precept upon precept, keeping what we know to be true and being silently contemplative and open minded about what we do not yet understand.
Once again I'm off subject but thats just the way my mind worked from your post.

I agree! The Chruch that he speaks of is already being prepared. If Jesus has revealed what Grace through Faith is to a person it will make them want to puke when they hear all the white wash preached.

If you are accepting what he states as the plan of salvation, then, you my friend are in trouble. I agree some things might not matter that much, but again, the main thing does.
I Corinthians 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaventh the whole lump?
Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaventh the whole lump.
Galatians 5:10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
What is Paul saying here in verse 10? Whoever it is bringing in the false teaching, and is leading you away from the Gospel of Grace, his judgment is sure. Preachers who have mislead people are going to have the hottest corner in the lake of fire, because they are misleading mulititudes.
And what about this verse in Acts 15: If you are going to use something in Acts 2:38 that was for the the nation of Israel, then you this one also.

And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except ye be circumcised after the manner of Moses, ye cannot be saved.
Guys, get real! Rightly divide the Word an put it and use it as God intended, not as your denomination uses it.

As far as a plan of salvation goes I don't know anything about a "sinners prayer". I'm a "believe, repent and be baptised" believer myself.
Why do you want to know how it feels to be filled with the Holy Ghost? Are you seeking to be Spirit filled yourself, or is there another reason?

The way some here have used the verse (Acts 2:38) it seems they think being filled with the Holy Ghost is a requirement for salvation.
I have never seen anything in the scripture that states one will feel anything once they are saved.
