Daniel Chapter 6

Please read the entire chapter a couple of times to get familure again with the setting. Also read Mark 16:15-18 and 1 Samuel 17:32-37. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Perilious times shall come-and are already here. Earthquakes in diverse places. Evil men waxing worse and worse. Men's hearts failing them for fear, ect. But is this some new thing that is happening to the sons of men? I think not. There is nothing new under the sun, that which is, has been. Trials, tribulations, persecutations have been part of the christian experience since the beginning. Ye shall be hated of ALL MEN for my names sake isn't a new concept. The land is filled with lions, bears, giants, ect. How shall we excape, or endure the storms that daily buffer the church and the saints of the most high God? The answer is found in this statement, "There is a God in the heavens"! A God who will NEVER leave nor forsake those who will commit their trust unto his keeping power.
Daniels enemies were in reality the enemies of The God in heaven that Daniel served. They shall hate you, because they have hated me first. They have not rejected you Samuel, they have rejected me!! He that loveth you, loveth me,and he that loveth me, loveth him that hath sent me. They could only find fault in the way that Daniel served his God. The King was lead by deception to sign a decree that could not be altered , nor changed. The punishment was published and known, BUT the laws of man cannot ever superceed the commandments of The God in heaven. Daniel was committed to the King and the kingdom of Babylon, BUT was more deeply committed unto the God Of Heaven and his Holy Laws. Not even the threat of death brought any hesitation on Daniels part. No compromise was concidered, not even for a few days. When Daniel KNEW that the decree was signed, he continued exactly as before, and opened his window untoward Jersulalem three times a day and prayed aloud, and before all to see. Nothing was done in a closet, or in secret. The den of starving lions was waiting, and Daniel knew that he would have to face them, but never weivered from his daily walk with The God of heaven. He knew that God would not put more upon him than he could bear, but would with every temptation, make a way of excape. Friend, there are roaring lions in the land today! Decrees are being passed daily to hinder christian by the threaths contained within them. If your metal isn't being tested, you need to take his yoke upon yourself and begin to live righteously, godly, and holy before the God of heaven. You shall be hated of ALL men for my names sake. Settle therefore the matter in your hearts!!
Daniel, Has the God who thou servest CONTINUALLY able to deliever thee from the mouth of the lions? Fear not O King, God hath sent his angel and shut the mouth of the lions. God will never leave us nor forsake us, but will go with us even unto the end.
David said, when I was keeping my Fathers sheep, when ever a lion came, I met him in the name of The God of Heaven and ripped him to peices. When a bear would appear on the scene, I also went forth in the Name of God, and killed him. This giant that is roaring in the valley, is nothin more than a lion, than a bear, the God that I serve makes this uncircumsied loud mouth as nothing, The God in Heaven will also give him unto my hand!
Mark 16 declares that what ever should cross our path, whatever happens, whatever the ememy send against us, it will nor prosper! It will not hinder the purpose of the church. Rather it will be a testimony to the keeping power of the God in heaven. No weapon formed against thee shall prosper. They that do KNOW thier God shall be strong and do exploits. The God in heaven will keep those in PERFECT peace whose mind IS STAYED upon the God in heaven.
A voice is crying in the wilderness today! The watchman is sounding a warning! He that hath an ear, let him hear!!

Probably off topic, but it strikes me how far removed we are from those prophets, disciples, and early christians. . . . .Very few of us knows the meaning of persecution and yet are so prone to claim it.

Jesus said that that day would not come, except (meaning without any exception) there come a falling away first. Because of large crowds, million dollar buildings, ect. some are shouting "revival", but where is the old time conviction and deminstration of the power of God within the lives of the believers?? There is a "form of godliness, but a denying of the power thereof". They "heap" to themselves teachers having itching ears. Heap tells me that they enjoy the pretense of godliness. They want the title of "christian". They want reputation of being "religious". Their trust is in their church and not in Gods word or the blood of Christ.
Johnny joined the Army and soon came home on leave. The Preached asked him if it was hard to live for God in the Army. No replied Johnny, I haven't told them yet that I am a christian. In church every Sunday, but the world doesn't know that they are christians.
The preacher inherited a talking parrot from his unsaved sailor brother. He took the parrot to church and as he walked in with the parrot on his shoulder, the parrot begin to shout, beer joint, beer joint!!. The preache tried to quite him saying this isn't a beer joint, its a church. the parrot replied, Same crowd, same crowd!!
The light is hidden under the bushel. Darkness has covered the land. because there none who will pay the price to be a light unto the world.

Isa 28:15 Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselvesMy sins are paid for. I will sin everyday of my life but that is why Jesus died.)
Isa 28:16¶Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner [stone], a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.(Jesus! Pure and holy tried and true.)
Isa 28:17 Judgment also will I lay to the line, and righteousness to the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters shall overflow the hiding place.(Jesus is the line and plmmet. We must take on his Grace and be empowered by him to overcome our sins and become holy. If we dont and believe the lies of once saved always saved, I will sin everyday but Jesus paid the price so I can we will die in those sins)
Isa 28:18 And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.(When tribulation comes if you are living a lie it will be your end!)

Lets not play church anymore! Play church just ends up in death!

Bro Ray, In order for one to stop playing church, we both know that one must do more than speak the words "Gods Grace". One must also understand, except, apply what grace teaches, and allow grace to be the source of his hope and salvation. It is only through Grace that one can truly know that his sins HAVE BEEN PAID FOR. Without that heavenly assurance, one will continue to proclaim to be a sinner and be blinded to the reality of true salvation as purchased on the cross.
A few referances on salvation will show that it, (salvation) is multi-purposed. It is delieverence for Soul, Mind, and Body. It makes on a "new creation", not just a cosmetic face-lift, or whitewashing to cover the stains of sin, but a total package of delieverence, purchased by GODS own blood, Acts 20:28.
There is none righteous, no not one. WHY? Because we were all shapen in iniquity and conceived in sin. Every single one was born in the family of the first Adam. Sin was inherent from the father to the son. None could open the Book!! But thank God for the Lamb!! He alone could, and did, open the book and wrote "paid in full". Jesus blood was and is, the antidote for the sin-sick souls of the lost. A flu shot doesn't do the least amount of good, unless you go to the clinic and except it, and have it administered unto you. If one wants to be set free in deed, he must allow Gods Grace to administer a healthy dose of the soul cleansing blood into his life. That is exactly what Grace administers unto those who will receive it.
Jesus assimilated ALL our sins unto himself when he went to calvary in our stead. When he cried, "it is finished", the full, complete, total, debt was paid for sin at that time! Not for some time in the distant future. He said, "IT IS FINISHED". The yoke of bondage WAS broken! Sin was defeated! The prison doors was opened! A new and living way WAS made. Whosoever will can NOW come. The vail WAS rent in twain! Today IS the day of salvation. Because Jesus assimulated our sins unto himself. Thank God for Grace!
Hasn't every one made mistakes? Being perfect isn't about what we have done, it is all about what Jesus has done, and will do! Blessed is he to whom SIN IS NOT IMPUTED. What does imputed mean? The dictionary says, Concider as belonging to; attribute to, charge to a person: blame.
So when does sin cease to be charged unto a person? When the ADVOCATE, the slain Lamb, The high preist in the True Tabernacle in Heaven, assimulates the sin upon himself, and is JUST, and FAITHFUL to FORGIVE the sheep gone astray, puts him upon his shoulders, and CARRIES him back into the sheepfold. Thank God for his marvelous Grace.
Ye MUST be born again. His yoke is easy and his burden is light. How can anyone refuse him now??
