Does he believe in the Trinity,Does he believe The Church is spiritual Israel ?
He is not the only one Chuck.
Worst of all he is a False Prophet.
He predicted the economy would fail because Mexico's economy would also failed, Never happened.
PROPHECIES
1. NO MORE GOSPEL ON TV BY 1999?
He preached this in the Solomon Church in December of 1994:
"Right now I sense in my spirit that in less than 5 years there will be no more so-called gospel television networks. They will all fall into bankruptcy and absolute ruin."
2. 1000 FIRES IN NEW YORK CITY DUE TO RACE RIOTS IN 1993?
From a prophecy of September 7, 1992:
"I have had recurring visions of over 1,000 fires burning at one time here in New York city. I am convinced race riots will soon explode! New York City is right now a powder keg-ready to blow!...federal and State Welfare cutbacks will be the spark that ignites the fuse. Next year, New York City could have over 100,000 angry men on the streets, enraged because they have been cut off from benefits....Federal troops will have to move in to restore order. New York City will have tanks running down its avenues....Churches will be closed for a season because it will be too dangerous to travel about. Fires will rage everywhere."
Although Wilkerson set the expiration date of this prophecy himself - " Next year" (i.e. 1993), he now says that this is yet future. This is a common expedient for those who assume themselves to be prophets, moving the goal-posts, hoping that others will forget by then.
3. FINANCIAL CRASH IN 2000?
On April 15 of that year, Wilkerson prophesied this:
"For the last two years I have been crying aloud, warning all who would hear that America is receiving her last call and that judgment is at the door. I did not say this was the end of the nation, but the last call before a financial crash." "I am writing this letter to you on Saturday, April 15, 2000. I have on my desk the headlines in yesterday's paper: "BLACK FRIDAY - BIGGEST ONE-DAY DROP IN HISTORY." The Dow fell 618 points - the Nasdaq fell 355. I do not know what is coming in the next sixty days. If the market bounces back, I can assure you it will be temporary. THE CRASH IS INEVITABLE - NOTHING CAN STOP IT."
To his credit, he admitted his mistake after the non-event, after the market instead of crashing, reached a record high on May 22 of that year:
"In prayer, I have told the Lord I am ready at any time to confess I am wrong - that I must have spoken from my own fears or that I have spoken unadvisedly. Recently, when the market reached record highs, I wondered if those calling me a false prophet were right."

IF HE LIVED IN THE OLD DAYS HE WOULD BE STONED TO DEATH.

If only it had come to pass. But alas we are still seeing plenty of televangelists and their mega-churches extorting their flocks of their hard earned money during these difficult times by implying they will spend eternity in hell unless they contribute enough to the church for the preacher to continue his lavish life style.

Well Alex,
I agree ..those things have not happened..I beleive they will..I believe things will get very bad too..common sense. The American people can only take so much.

As far as banks..I don't know who we do trading with.and you are correct in your copy and paste..The Mexican thing hasn't happened yet.

I do know many things he has predicted has come to pass..I also know I can type anyones name or religious preferrence with the words false prophet or heresy beside it and find some dirt. Shoot..the religious leaders called Jesus a false prophet and demon..

..I still love the brother..and consider him a brother .I haven't heard his side yet and I don't swallow every quote or copy and paste...especially with todays technology..

Sincerely,
Chuck7

Does beleiveing in the trinity make one a false teacher?

Also..something to think about ..sometimes a brother or sister may get a partial picture..not sure because God has never used me in this capacity..but here's an example.

In 1976 ..this happened..

Sister.."Chuck..God is moving you out west.".{ I was in the military} then she changed her mind and said..NO!! God has corrected me before ..You are moving somewhere and there will be a horse and wagon...I don't know where you are moving but you are leaving us." I was currently stationed at Fort Stewart Georgia. This sister had learned not to add words to the finite picture she was shown in the spirt...

Two months later I was transferred to Washingington D.C. as part of the Honor Guard working in the Arlington Cememtary marching behind the horse and wagon that carried the caskets..so the lady was right on but almost messed up by adding her own interpretation..

Here are a list of the 1973 prophecies..I think he was right on myself..

  1. “Worldwide recession caused by economic confusion”
    • “At most a few more fat flourishing years, and then an economic recession that’s going to affect the life style of every wage-earner in the world. The world economists are going to be at loss to explain what’s happening. It’s going to start in Europe, spread to ***an and finally to the United States.”
    • There will be a move toward a worldwide, unified monetary system. The US dollar will be hit bad and it will take years for it to recover.
    • The only real security will be in real estate (until a somewhat later stage, at which point this apparent security will also disappear).
  2. Yep..NOTE..this was 33 years later..
  3. “Nature having labor pains”
    • Environmentalists will come under heavy criticism.
    • There will be major earthquakes.
    • There will be a major famine.
    • Floods, hurricanes and tornadoes will increase in frequency.
    • “A new kind of cosmic storm appearing as a raging fire in the sky leaving a kind of vapor trail.”[2]
  4. “A flood of filth and a baptism of dirt in America”
    • Topless women will appear on television, followed by full nudity.
    • Adult, X rated movies will be shown on cable television. Young people will gather at homes to watch this kind of material in groups.
    • Sex and the occult will be mixed.
    • There will be an acceptance of homosexuality, and the church will even say that it is a God-given gift.
    • Yep
  5. “Rebellion in the home”
    • “I see the new number one youth problem in America and the world as hatred towards parents.”[2]
  6. “A persecution madness against truly Spirit filled Christians who love Jesus Christ”
    • There will arise a world church consisting of a union between liberal ecumenical Protestants and the Roman Catholic Church, using Christ in name only.
    • There will be a hate Christ movement.
    • There will be a spiritual awakening behind the Iron and Bamboo Curtains.
  7. Others
    • There will be another wave of riots.
    • There will be a fall in moral conduct.
    • There will be a new drug that will be popular with teenagers that will break down resistance and will encourage sexual activity. EXCITY
    • Homosexual and lesbian ministers will be ordained and this will be heralded as a new breed of pioneer.
    • EPISCOPAL
    • There will be nude dancing in church, but this will never be widespread.
    • There will be occult practices in churches.

Lot's of folk get into trouble trying to be prophets. I personally feel that the reason that we don't see God moving today in signs and wonders more than we do is because He just can't find a man selfless enough to operate thru.
Irregardless, walk the walk, so many are talking the talk. We have Christ and enough written to see us thru.
I know nothing of Mr Wilkerson.

How does one determine if a prophet is a "TRUE" prophet of God, or determine him to be a false prophet?
Is there a percentage of his total prophecies that must come to pass?
How many false prophecies is one allowed before he falls into the catagory of a false prophet?
Since Jesus warned about the increase of false prophets, and the dangers of being decieved by them, we would be wise to learn the identifying traits of a false prophet.

Prophets in the OT heard the voice of God audible, so they had to be 100% Right on. If Not they were put to death even for one false prophecy.
Today's Christians think prophecies are things that pop into their head and that's God speaking to them.
Very dangerous to believe in people like that.
Jim Jones, David Koresh comes to mind.
Now I don't have to be a prophet to have seen what is happening in the world, I saw all this coming 40 years ago, does that make me a prophet, NO! it makes me a good student of the word and of the prophecies that are already revealed.
Now some people confuse a word of Knowledge with prophecy, it is not.

I've listened to many of Wilkerson's messages and have not once heard him put a time line on his prophecies...you can not beleive every copy and paste..It's amazing to me how quick some will believe a bad report..but I know this is human nature..Human nature is bent to exhault themselves above others

In the Old Testament some prophecies never happened for a 1000 years...shoot..some of them still have not happened..Is John the Revelator a liar?...Absoluteley not..yet there have been things in Revelations that have not come to pass. There have been things Jesus has spoken that have still not come to pass..

Many have come to pass...and looking at Dave's 1973 prophecies..MANY have been fulfilled which would have seemed impossilbe back in 1973.

SHALL WE LOOK AGAIN...Here are a list of the 1973 prophecies..I think he was right on myself..AND THESE WOULD HAVE SEEMED FOOLISH BACK IN 1973...I will highlight the fulfilled ones in blue..

  4. “Rebellion in the home”
    • “I see the new number one youth problem in America and the world as hatred towards parents.”[2]
  6. Others
    • There will be another wave of riots.
    • There will be a fall in moral conduct.
    • There will be a new drug that will be popular with teenagers that will break down resistance and will encourage sexual activity.
    • Homosexual and lesbian ministers will be ordained and this will be heralded as a new breed of pioneer.
    • There will be nude dancing in church, but this will never be widespread.
    • There will be occult practices in churches.
The ones in black will certainly come..There were similiar events warned to come by Jesus...The nude dancing..not sure but it wouldn't surprize me..We have a rainbow church right up the road..and there have been a few busted from that church already for lewd behavior.
NOW A CONCLUSION FROM DAVE HIMSELF...
"""Note: I do not know when these things will come to pass, but I know it is not far off. I have unburdened my soul to you. Do with the message as you choose.

God bless and keep you,

In Christ,

DAVID WILKERSON "
