Why is that, you help people in need whatever the need be and then when you are in need, you are left out in the cold, any ideals why this is.

Because you should expect from God not from man.

"The Lord Is my Shepperd I shalt not Want".Psalm 23.
Claim It, Brother !

Smile Not so!

My mom was only 15 when I was born. When her parents found out she was pregnant, they insisted she have an abortion. When she refused, they threw her out. Not knowing what to do, she went to a friend's house and her friend's parents took her in. I don't know what kind of arrangements they made, but when the dad was transferred to Michigan they took my mom along. They paid for all the medical care for her and me and took care of us like we were their own.

After she turned 16, she went to court to try to get emancipated so she could get a job, because she felt guilty relying on her friend's parents for everything. But the judge made us both wards of the court after he heard the story and told social services to find us a home, food stamps, and day care, and referred mom to a friend who gave her a job as a waitress.

When she turned 18, she got a job in a bar waitressing and tending bar. This paid a lot more because of the tips, so we were able to get off public assistance. (You can't drink until you're 21 here, but you can serve alcohol when you're 18.)

The people who took us in were Caucasians by the way, and also Catholics.

See there are people who will help you when you are in need

Chuck, we didn't know you had a need..

I've gone through a similiar situation though brother..and like one brother said..God is the one we look too when we have needs..Yes, He uses people but if you have a need you are to go in your prayer closet and shut the door..and when you pray in secret He will reward you openly." Since I began doing that..my life has changed a whole lot..

You got my phone number my friend..feel free to call anytime.

God bless,
Chuck7

Jam 1:2Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
Jam 1:3because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Jam 1:4Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Despite what is preached in happy go lucky church, tough times are part of the process! Take those who walked with Jesus. Did they live in manions and drive nice cars? Preach in million dollar buildings wearing desiner suits? They all were treated like dirt! Here is Pauls account of it!

1Cr 4:9For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession, like men condemned to die in the arena. We have been made a spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to men.
1Cr 4:10We are fools for Christ, but you are so wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are honored, we are dishonored!
1Cr 4:11To this very hour we go hungry and thirsty, we are in rags, we are brutally treated, we are homeless.1Cr 4:12We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;1Cr 4:13when we are slandered, we answer kindly. Up to this moment we have become the scum of the earth, the refuse of the world.1Cr 4:14I am not writing this to shame you, but to warn you, as my dear children. 1Cr 4:15Even though you have ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.1Cr 4:16Therefore I urge you to imitate me.

Keep on giving brother because that is what it is all about. Consider it Joy when you are put through trials. God is trying to develop you into the person he wants you to be!
