Update on my wife

My wife has a terminal lung condition where fibers take over the lungs..to make scar tissue..The life expectancy is from 3-6 years once diagnosed...

Her hair is mostly gone so she wears a wig..fact she bought 6 more different colors off of ebay last night..I was feeling very terrible about all of this until God removed the blinders and I know He loves me now..He actually always had..I just didn't beleive it..

She still has her job but has contacted the school and gota note from the doctor where she can take a year's leave at anytime and still be hired the next year..So that's a nice ace in the whole.

My job...to be still ...and yield myself to the Spirit ..which is God's love..so I can love my wife to the utmost till she departs to be with the Lord...BUT who knows..He may give us 20 more years.{ -: we don'tknow..so we will make the best of everyday.
" For the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost.which He has given us" This love I speak of is actually the Holy Spirit..that guides, comforts ,convicts and is with US always ..even to the end of the ages.

We'll pray for you and your wife Chuck. You have a very heavy burden to bear. I felt very alone and helpless when my husband got sick back in June and all I could do was pray. I'm more fortunate than you for sure, since my husband has recovered.

All you can do is pray for strength. If you do that you will get the strength to endure. You and your wife will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Where there's life there's always hope they say. Don't forget to look into supplements and foods that can lead to healing Chuck, not as an alternative to medical treatment but as a supplement. Sometimes this can make a difference.

I am praying for both of you my brother. I pray that God will give you peace, strength, and wisdom. And I pray that He will touch your wife in a miraculous way. That it would be a witness to all who have knowledge of this situation.

Thanks Folks,

A while ago..actually many times the Lord has impressed upon my heart to reread the New Testament and highlight all the places where it confirms God's love for us..I started doing it..but didn't finish it..NOW through hind site I can see why..Knowing God's love is the bedrock foundation for everything else..
He reminded me of that again this morning..so I'll read Romans today etc.etc. etc..

This is what our enemy desires to distroy..our confidence that we have in Him..
Our God given faith that is much more precious than gold.

Then ..when these trials pop up..we can boldly proclaiim.."We know that ALL things work together for good."

or as the song writer pinned when he lost his entire family..

"It is well with my soul."
