Default Prayers For Pops

Folks, I'm asking for prayers for my Pops. He's 83 yrs old and has served in the Army thru three wars . . .retired Army, SFC Ottis McLendon. He's been a perfectly awesome Dad and a darn good husband.
He's not of my faith but is Baptist/Methodist . . .Anyway, he'll be getting set up to have triple bypass surgery. I'd love for the Lord to let me have him just a little bit longer to tie up some loose ends. Thanks.

These are always scarry times, as nothing is assured. However the advanced tech. has greatly increased the success rate. Prayers can and does defy the odds time and time again. Keep us posted.

Snooky, Rev, MT, Alex, Chuck, your prayers are appreciated. Friday he goes to have a stint??? . .getting a view of the valves in his heart before they decide to do the surgery. I really don't know from just talking to them . . .Pops downplays everything and Mom exaggerates everything. I'll be with him friday and will know more.
Pops reacts badly to any kind of medication that puts him asleep or kills pain. He hallucinates and fights regardless of what they give him. My understanding of this stint deal is that he will have to remain still for 4 hours afterwards.
