Default HNI Changes

Hi everybody.

The newer owners of HNI have migrated the entire site over to new hosting software. The site is supposed to look and operate pretty much the same. Having said that, there is a bit of a learning curve for all users and a bigger learning curve for the mods and admin. If you have any questions, please email or PM a mod or admin and we will try to get your questions/problems answered/resolved.

This is the first time I've been able to even get the site to come up . . .and logging on to reply to Mac's thread . . . that took 45 minutes and then the entire thing went away and I had to go through the entire procedure a 2nd time. These so-called "up grades" aren't all they should be IMO.

I've passed on all of these problems (I've suffered from them also) to admin. I've also found an interesting trick that seems to work so far. When I submit an advanced post (contains smilies), I automatically get booted out and am unable to log back on. I no longer try to log back in and instead direct my browser to a different website (I use Fox News but pick your poison). I immediately then direct my browser back to HNI and find I am logged in already. Hopefully this will help with some of the frustration and yes, I know, this is only a temporary solution to a problem that HNI needs to fix.
