he is better already. Blood sugar is still elevated somewhat
but not too bad.. Ketones are now clear. He's taking the tami-flu which they said shortens the duration
Prayer works

Thanks again, M.T.

He is much better and the school will give him his own room for his tests this week/ I told him no cheating. The Sugar is the scary stuff,at least to me. Most have a cross I guess, and that is his.

Now his mother has the stuff. But it is still a mild case.

i was wondering about that. what effect does the sugar/diabeties and the treatment relate to each other????

BTW, we all have our cross, thats why i try my best to understand everyone i encounter, you never know what that person is living with or going thru

will keep ya'll in prayer

I really don't know and didn't ask her. maybe the treatment has nothing to do with it. As I understood her his ketones went up with the fever etc, is it related i don't know. I know little about sugar. The only thing I can tell you from experience, kids this age seem to try and hide fact that it is a problem and at times will just skip proper procedure. he spends at least a week with me every year and I,because I don't know much about it, watch him like a hawk. he is able to play all sports etc at this time. he has a really good arm and pitches. They live in suburbs and he loves to come out and shoot. I have a hard time trying to teach him proper gun handling. His folks care little about hunting and fishing. I told them, because he attends a large school, and maybe won't be able to play high school sports it would be something worthwhile he can do.

I will get a email off to her ans see what I can find out.

What is a farmer doing on the computer this time of day.... rain

He is nice for me as my boys, grown up, were wrestlers, and just wanted to beat the tar out of each other, didn't want to hunt

waiting for it to warm up[&:], rain??? (i wish) we have all our hay work caught up, i have a few little projects i have got to take car of today, then its just routine stuff, actually the routine stuff comes first[&:] feed, water, medicate, check fencing, chargers, you know the drill[&:](the stuff i have already done today)our bussiest time of the year is during kidding, this year was a breeze, we only lost 3 kids, and we have one (bottle baby)the wife is tending too[:-][&:], annie, as in little orphan annie,is now around 45-50lbs.the reduction in lost kids is mainly because we went thru our animals, sold off what we didn't need, breeding what we desire, we changed from 100% boer goats a little over a year ago and are working towards genemaster with a kiko/boer cross, so far these animal are proving a lot more dureable than the boers

here is a picture of a few of the ladies (my reg. breeding stock)

BTW, here is a shot of me and the misses, where she's riding me like always[&:]

have a great day

Looks like Ma knows what she is doing, and the kid is a cute little guy. I confess I know not much about them
Whats with the green on the halter, are you Iranian?
Have a good one and thanks again. That hay will dry sooner or later.
I have no answer yet on the flu. I will shoot you a email when I find out more.

God Bless
