Default Memorial Day..

Thanks to all of you fellows who have served our country.

Did everyone have a nice memorial day. What did you all do today ?
I went fishing..struck out.I never do good after a new moon.
I then went to Home Depot to pick up a grow light.I'm getting serious into gardeing. I propagated a few plans.

I smoked some ribs over Hickory..Turned out very good. My wife helped her sister in law price things for a yard sale.I heard an excellent message today on the radio..lot's of nuggets..andI can't remember the preacher's name.[&o]I only have 8 more school days left.
I searched the net and found the preacher..Adrian Rogers..Program is called Love Worth..Excellent Teacher
Looking forward to hearing from all of you.

Default RE: Memorial Day..

Memorial Day is a bitter sweet day for me. I usually reflect all all the good times I had with my buddies that didn't make it back home from Viet Nam.

I read the words of the Battle Hymn of the Republic out loud last night on the deck of our lake house, the wordsbrought me to tears to see how far this country has turned away from God. And I believe with all my heart Obama is loving every minute of it, and it's only going to get worse!

+1[&o] . . . .In all actuality, Memorial Day is a day for remembering those who have paid the ultimate price for America by laying down their lives. Even tho I'm a veteran I want no recognition on this day as I did'nt pay that price.
I do feel some shame however to be part of a generation that dishonors the many men who have died defending this country by allowing such as Obama to actually be voted in.
