If you are worrying about something. It could be anything. I am curious this doesnt sound like the work of the Lord. To me sounds like the devils work.

This is one of the hardest things for me. I lift my worries up to the lord. I know He can handle them & my concerns are in the right hands. Yet I worry anyway. Don't I trust God? This is where my "leap" comes in. I have to step off the ledge & trust that God will carry me even though logically its impossible...

All eveil is the work of the devil..but worry...that is a natural feeling..it can save our lives..but I like to call the word 'Concerned' I'm very concerned about my slow students not passing...so I work extra hard with them.I'm concerned about losing my truck key while hunting so I carry a hidden spare..I'm concerned about how real H E L L is so I strive to know him lest I hear those dreadful words." Depart from me ..I never knew you."Most of the time angels appeared to saints..they normally always said,"Fear Not." because it our natural tendency to fear the unknown. The wise man sees the danger ahead and prepares himself..the fool continues head long into danger. Fear is a good motivator..

However; we have the resources not to be eatten up with concern , anxiety or fear..our help cometh from the Lord..and daily as our relationshipwill grow from worry and eventually get replaced by trust...trust will grow into rest, love and peace.

Jesus said,"Learn of me,for I am meek and lowly and ye shall find rest in your soul."

Chuck is essentially correct here. You're giving the devil too much credit. You are really responsible for your own decisions about the course you take in your life. God has given you the guidance. It's up to you to use it.

I feel for ya Fred..and so does Jesus..and we all worry at times my friend..loss of a job..diagnosis with cancer..children on drug...bondage to a sin...

These are resaons my friend to draw ever so closeto Jesus..without a oneness in Jesus we all worry.'We need thee every hour." Chuck7 needs Him every day Fred. He is our only hope my dear friend..The world is looking gloomier everyday..We need to live in Him. He is bigger than any of our problems..

Kindergarden basics...live in His Word..breakfast, lunch and dinner..pray..and your ears and eyes will be open.His Word is living...
