I do not believe we are the starters of global warming. My son gets to go to Yellowstone this next week for 5 days with some of his class. In a paper he brought home, it said that the glaciers have been melting 250 to 300 years ago. We may help to make it go faster, but we are not the starter of global warming. Over the years of the earth, the glaciers and ice caps have both receded and grown larger. It just so happens that the earth is in a cycle of receding ice caps.

It really does make sense, though. Man made global warming is something that has to be believed to be seen.

"It"™d be well worth a few silly law-suits to establish precedent necessary to keep this nonsense out of our public schools on those very same grounds."

Wouldn't that be something... no "global warming" talk @ school because it's religious education!

Exactly! If it weren't for global warming, I would be sitting on top ofthe humungous glacier that formed this whole area where I live. That glacier did not recede because the Indians were driving their SUVs around here or running their air conditioners. Instead, my man was mowing the lawn and I was planting Weigela bushes. (Those bushes are a native of ***an, by the way.)

A wool coat would be great if that glacier comes back

Even Al Gore has backed off a bit on his ridiculous mantra about global warming. For the last 5 years, the earth has been in a period of COOLING. Before someone (andyou allknow who I mean) says that we're talking about trends. let me say that I've been taking note of when the all time highs and lows have taken place over the past 100+ years. Most of the time, the all-time highs took place a long time ago - often in the early 1900's. The all-time lows mostly have MUCH more recent dates. I remember hearing a lot of talk about another ice-age about 30 years ago. . . but that was wrong too. The scientific community debates about whether or not this is man made or just a normal part of the weather cycle. I'll go with the latter. It doesn't matter though to the libs, they've got obama to pay huge $$$ for this non-sense.
