So He told them this parable, saying, "œWhat man among you, if he has a hundred
sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go
after the one which is lost until he finds it? When he has found it, he lays it on his
shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his
neighbors, saying to them, "˜Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!"™ I
tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who
repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

Parables don't seem to be 100% analogous. In this parable, we see that God wants those of us who stray. Well, who doesn't stray through sin? IMO, we are all that lost sheep. Maybe the 99 are those already in heaven?
The 99 are just the sheep that weren't lost at that time.
Any1 of them could have been the lost 1.
The parable doesn't say that any particular1 was lost.
It could have been any1 of the 100. So the 99 can
change depending on which 1 is lost. Whothe 99of the
100 are is not the important part of the parable, they are
all sheep prone to getting lost but valuable (loved)enough
to go after until found.

Very Good , Jesus said I have come but to the House of Israel, so in fact he was speaking of Those Israelites that were lost, perhaps what we today call secular Jews, But today it applies to Gentiles as well, the 1 could be a Christian who have fallen from Grace and the 99 Could be The Christians who have not gone astray.
In a more ample meaning it could be the 1 planet that was lost and yet there are 99 inhabited who have not lost communion with their maker.

Like the kids used to say,
"that's far out man".
You give rise to another question. Paul taught in an epistle to the Hebrews that God through his Son made the worlds. So according to Paul, more than one world has been created. So it must be that our world is pretty wicked for our world to Crucify the Son of God? So maybe the 1 planet is ours, seeing that our world was the one to do this act.
