I spent 4 years in the military..I was a royal mess and was getting kicked out after being in for a year without 1 rank..I read my New Testament straight through and was involved in a 30 day war game at Eglin Airforce Base..The Lord Jesus woke me up one night shortly after I read the New Testament and I saw Him face to face..Trust me..there will be no such questions in Heaven..
When one sees Jesus they will fall on their face as His holiness is so great none can stand..This is what we see when angels appeared unto anyone no matter how devout there was..The Lord will commuicate in our hearts as He does with His children now..And His mercy will see us in ..If we have been merciful and belong to Him.

PS After meeting Christ Jesus I repented ..I was given 3 ranks and sent to the White House Honor Guard at the Arlington Cemetary..and then to 6 years of Bible College.

I was expecting more replies but it is really quite simply as one said.
It is not by anything I did, but simply believing what Christ did for me. I believe he died for my sins, was buried and raised the third day according to the scriptures.

The crown is won when you believe the Gospel of Grace. One who is truly saved will try to do the will of God. And once you believe the Gospel of Grace, you are born again.
Works come after you are saved.
