My brother has been diagnosed with mesothelioma, a rare but deadly form of cancer associated with asbestos, and I ask my fellow huntingnetters to pray for him. After I spent a couple of years recovering from surgeries, we were able to get together for a family and friends deer hunt at our cabin in northcentral PA. My father passed away this past groundhog day, and my brother became the heir apparent as cook and cabin warmer. We looked forward to the coming years and many deer camps together, and our dream has been shattered. He is so scared and I am so heartbroken.
Praying for your brother, you, and family. I agree with Chuck send pastorjim a pm, he is such a blessing to those of us on this board. God gave him an amazing gift and we are blessed that he shares it with us.

Thanks Partner, Barry will be my primary prayer request in the coming weeks..You mentioning fear really bounced off the screen.I'm also of that temperament and can identify..
Another reason I focus on love..Look at this Bible verse .. 1 John4:18There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
This powerful love is not found in any of our English writings..It 's only found in the Bible..The Greek word is Agape..It's a love that only comes from knowing God..My prayer for Barry is that he would know the Lord as His Savior and that Barry would "know the love of God that passeth all understanding" and that God would touch Barry's body.
