chuck-i'd love to play like that, but arthritis and a mashed index finger have limited my ability lately. i can't make bar chords now, so have started using a capo to get around that. fingers just aren't as limber as they used to be. but i do read tab, and attempt finger picking at times, when i'm feeling fluid in my finger movement. mostly i just play rhythm and do a little "Moro Bottoms chicken pickin" as the guys call it during our jam sessions!keep posting those videos- i bookmark all of them and can listen to them when i'm at the computer desk doing other stuff. love to hear good guitar playing; hate the amplified noise of some of the younger players. can do that with my ephi les paul, but don't care to. just not my thing. with that said, think i'll drag out the guitar and start playing some now! have a blessed day-Bill

You guys make me green with envy with to talk of picking. I can hardly paint brust my way through "I'll Fly Away". Was in concert with "Barefoot" a couple of weeks ago. The lead Guitarist was picking a 1948 Martin D-50, Never heard a better sounding instrument.
