FLorida's main standardized test comes up this March 10th..I teach the lower end of the third grade. We do our best to teach our kids 'key ' words to help them decide what math operation to use..Some math problems do not have key words..such as
comparing. So I figured out whenever you compare 2 things.. you should subtract.
I beleive that also carries out in real life.When we compare ourselves with others..we usally subtract ..making the other lower than ourselves.This is quite contrary as Paul says in Phillipians
"But in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.."
Just a thought about comparing.
