Math Words..

FLorida's main standardized test comes up this March 10th..I teach the lower end of the third grade. We do our best to teach our kids 'key ' words to help them decide what math operation to use..Some math problems do not have key words..such as comparing. So I figured out whenever you compare 2 things.. you should subtract.

I beleive that also carries out in real life.When we compare ourselves with others..we usally subtract ..making the other lower than ourselves.This is quite contrary as Paul says in Phillipians"But in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than themselves.."

Just a thought about comparing.

If we do any comparing we should compare ourself to Christ. He is the example to follow.

In actuallity James 2 says when we judge our brother we are actually judging God.Last Christmasour Lord graciously delivered me from a strong hold in my life...an Angry Man...Later on I found out the seeds to help grow that man..it's gossip.I stay away from gossip at all cost..Gossip breeds malice , bitterness, hatrted and eventually murder or rage..but it can start withwhat Proverbs calls"Little dainties of gossip." which comes from comparing oneself with others..PRIDE.

I honestly never imagined I had a problem.I was right in every incident..yet one can be 100% right and yet 100% wrong.Paul said,"I forfeited my rights for the sake of the gospel." The other day a teacher friend began to expound to me some concerns about another..I quickly { Less than a second} said " Please stop...I can't do that." I later explained the power of anger and she understood..The Lord had revealed to me..it can start with gossip.
