OK, maybe this has been hit before, I don't know.
First, did God create the heavens and the earth and all the creatures in 6 days according to a timeline of "today's" 6 days?
Second, where do the dinosaurs fit in? Before Adam and Eve? Did people live at the same time? I do read the bible, not as much as I should, but i do read. i just can not find a good timeline on something like that.
Thanks
Dandbuck
The word used for "day" in Genesis translates into a literal 24 hour day. Notice God separated day and night, and noted the beginning and end of each day. Thousands, or millions, or whatever years of day, following by the same amount of night, is just another fact that destroys the "theory" of evolution.
Look up "behommeth" and "leviathan". These have been considered dinosaurs, and existed with manking. We have huge reptiles still living among us now.
We have to choose between science, and even our own logic, and the Bible. The Bible tells us certain people could perform miracles. The Bible tells us two different men arose from the dead. The Bible tells us Christ walked on water. That goes against human logic and science, but I believe it happened.

And the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive[fn1] with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years."
There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
Then the LORD[fn2] saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
So the LORD said, "I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast, creeping thing and birds of the air, for I am sorry that I have made them."
It talks here of giants on the earth at this time. Possibledinosaurs walked on the earth at the same time as Noah!

Job 40:15 - 41:34 is just one example. Below is the passage.
Job 40:15-41:34(English Standard Version)
15"Behold, Behemoth,[a]
which I made as I made you;
he eats(A) grass like an ox.16Behold, his strength in his loins,
and his power in the muscles of his belly.17He makes his tail stiff like a cedar;
the sinews of his thighs are knit together.18His bones are tubes of bronze,
his limbs like bars of iron.
19"He is(B) the first of(C) the works[b] of God;
let him who made him bring near his sword!20For the mountains yield food for him
where all the wild beasts play.21Under the lotus plants he lies,
in the shelter of(D) the reeds and in the marsh.22For his shade the lotus trees cover him;
the willows of the brook surround him.23Behold, if the river is turbulent he is not frightened;
he is confident though Jordan rushes against his mouth.24Can one take him by his eyes,[c]
or pierce his nose with a snare?
Job 41
1[d] "Can you draw out(E) Leviathan[e] with a fishhook
or press down his tongue with a cord?2Can you put(F) a rope in his nose
or pierce his jaw with a hook?3Will he make many pleas to you?
Will he speak to you soft words?4Will he make a covenant with you
to take him for(G) your servant forever?5Will you play with him as with a bird,
or will you put him on a leash for your girls?6Will traders bargain over him?
Will they divide him up among the merchants?7Can you fill his skin with harpoons
or his head with fishing spears?8Lay your hands on him;
remember the battle"you will not do it again!9[f] Behold, the hope of a man is false;
he is laid low even at the sight of him.10No one is so fierce that he dares to stir him up.
Who then is he who can stand before me?11(H) Who has first given to me, that I should repay him?
(I) Whatever is under the whole heaven is mine.
12"I will not keep silence concerning his limbs,
or his mighty strength, or his goodly frame.13Who can strip off his outer garment?
Who would come near him with a bridle?14Who can open the doors of his face?
Around his teeth is terror.15His back is made of[g] rows of shields,
shut up closely as with a seal.16One is so near to another
that no air can come between them.17They are(J) joined one to another;
they clasp each other and cannot be separated.18His sneezings flash forth light,
and his eyes are like(K) the eyelids of the dawn.19Out of his mouth go flaming torches;
sparks of fire leap forth.20Out of his nostrils comes forth smoke,
as from a boiling pot and burning rushes.21His breath(L) kindles coals,
and a flame comes forth from his mouth.22In his neck abides strength,
and terror dances before him.23The folds of his flesh(M) stick together,
firmly cast on him and immovable.24His heart is hard as a stone,
hard as the lower millstone.25When he raises himself up the mighty[h] are afraid;
at the crashing they are beside themselves.26Though the sword reaches him, it does not avail,
nor the spear, the dart, or the javelin.27He counts iron as straw,
and bronze as rotten wood.28The arrow cannot make him flee;
for him sling stones are turned to stubble.29Clubs are counted as stubble;
he laughs at the rattle of javelins.30His underparts are like sharp(N) potsherds;
he spreads himself like(O) a threshing sledge on the mire.31He makes the deep boil like a pot;
he makes the sea like a pot of ointment.32Behind him he leaves a shining wake;
one would think the deep to be white-haired.33(P) On earth there is not his like,
a creature without fear.34He sees everything that is high;
he is king over all the(Q) sons of pride."

The Bible tells us two different men arose from the dead.
Actually the bible tells us that "many" have been raised from the dead. In Mathew's account of the crucifiction, the graves were opened and "many" of the saints rose from the dead and walked into the holy city and "appeared unto many".
The word used for "day" in Genesis translates into a literal 24 hour day. Notice God separated day and night, and noted the beginning and end of each day. Thousands, or millions, or whatever years of day, following by the same amount of night, is just another fact that destroys the "theory" of evolution.

Sorry LBR but that is not Correct, In Hebrew a day is the daylight Hours as Genesis State.
3And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. 4And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. 5God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.
So a day is around a period of 12 Hours while the night might also be a period of 12 hours, in Spanish is also the same way , Dia means day or daylight hours.

In the English language we can also use day to refer to the daylight hours or a 24 hr period. God was made it real clear - day and night theNnn day -a literal 24 hour day.
That's what I mean KB--not 24 hours of light, but rather a "day" being a 24 hour period consisting of both light and dark.
