RE: bible on CD
If you're just looking for something like "Books on Tape" where you stick the CD in and you get the Bible read to you, I'm pretty sure Amazon.com would have a selection for you.
Edited to add: The CD player in our truck will remember where you were when you shut the engine off as long as you don't take the CD out.
