Default gave my family a scare

got up thursday with chest pain which got steadily worse. pain meds i had didn't work, but thought i could tough it out till friday and go see my cardiologist. well, friday came and still hurting bad. called heart doc and he had me go thru the nitro every 5 minutes deal. still hurting, so he talked to the wife and off to the local emergency room we go. spent friday afternoon and night, and till noon today in the hospital getting stuck and tested til i was ready to walk out-nothing found. arteries of the heart are going into spasms and shutting off blood supply, causes great pain. been doing that for a while, but everyone still panics when it happens. finally let me go with the promise i go see my heart doctor monday or tuesday. only good thing was the morphine they put me on-- shot every 4 hours that would get the pain almost down to where i could sleep. can see why people get addicted to that stuff! on a high most of the night! but i'm glad to be back home, even if i still have an occasional pain. will be changing meds next week, i'm sure. meds will keep the spasms down till my body gets used to the meds, then we have to try something else. i think it's just God's way of letting me know that He is keeping my heart beating. 4 heart attacks in 10 years and God has kept me through it all and continues to bless me and help me make it till He's ready to call me home. don't know what all He has left for me to do before He calls me home, but with His help, i'll continue to work till He decides it's time to go. please keep me in your prayers, and know that i am praying for each request made on here. be blessed, and a blessing to all you meet-Bill

Bill, with all that heart history you know better than to ignore it While I believe we cant' add or subtract from our alloted time, I also believe the Lord has given us knowledge and expects us to use it wisely. Hope and pray the Lord will bless you and keep you.

You and family are in my prayers, and yes don't tough it out, or put it off. We need to take care of ourselves it is part of our responsibility.
