Default % of Americans that are Catholic?
Can anybody find this statistic somwhere for me? I have briefly looked but was apperntly looking at the worng thing. Mainly the US government site.

Wikipedia says that in 2001 24.5% of Americans identified themselves as Catholics. 32% of American Christians are Catholic.

What a religion teaches doesn't always resonate with the members. I can't cite a source, but the percentage of Catholics who are "pro-choice" is about the same as the percentage in the general population.

No such thing as a "pro-choice" Catholic, These people are NOT in communion with the Holy Church.

So you can only be a member of a church if you believe 100% of everythign they say/stand for?

I'm certain there are plenty of catholics who don't believe for everything the catholic church teaches, or stands for.

None of that matters anyway. The Lord put him in office for a reason. We just have to keep on trustin' in the Lord.
