Default Not a pastor anymore

Everyone,

My wife and I have resigned as pastors of the church we were at. It was positive but I think the church needs more than we can give it right now. And since we both work fulltime jobs, it is pretty hard to give it allthe attention it needs. They are in a catch 22 situation, they need someone fulltime but they can't afford to pay someone fulltime. Please pray thatGod will send them the right person for their situation. And please pray thatmy wife and I will be where God wants us to be. I am posting this so that you won't refer to me as Pastor Jim anymore. I will continue to use that user name however, because I think it's too much trouble to change it.

Blessings.....(former)Pastorjim

I think you will always be pastorjim to us. God has ordained you and He will bring to wherever you need to be. You were a pastor in church and also one on this board. You have given your love, time, wisdom, and advice, the same with us as you would the members of your congregation. I will be praying for a replacement for your congregation with the knowledge that God will send just the right person for them.

Please do not worry about what they can afford because we come from a rather small congregation and we didn't think we could afford a full time pastor either but God provided. Just remember Abraham if you get discouraged.

God's many blessings to you and your wife, and the work of your ministering. In Christ's Love Katrina.
