Trail Tacks

Folks .
I hunt in very scary wildlife management area..Over 50,000 acres..filled with poisoness snakes , gators and coyotes..before the season starts I usually buy about 500 trail tacks..I found a real good spot this year ..I went ahead and tacked it out..

Early in the morning at 5:15 AM I'm always thankful for those glow in the dark trail tacks..I have them where the gators adn snakes are not..Jesus always reminds me when I 'm following those tacks that He is the light of the world..and when we follow Him we won't get lost or stumble..1 john says if we don't love our brother we are walking in darkness..A few times I actually forgot to tack up my stand..That is very scary and also a wasted 60 mile trip..Folks, when we fail to love one another it's a wasted day..Jesus said that we are the light of the world..We are the trail tacks that the world needs to see..Jesus said "By the love we have for one another..the world will know ..they will see.."Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

I love ya Chuck.BTW, I'm feeling a lot better. She called me today and wanted to know if things could work out, I told her I needed some time to see what God had planned fo us. I'm starting to enjoy living at the lake (even though it's cold) but it's giving me time to get my head and my heart right! I've had so many friends keeping an eye on me. Either way, I'll be content.

that you would reply..yesterday as I was stumbling through the rough terrain BUT with the comfort of the tacks the Lord had put you on my heart the entire walk..I was thinking if Rev was following those "Trail Tacks" he wouldn't be in this mess.


I'm thrilled that you two communicated ..that brings joy to my heart...

Chuck, Its funny the lessons God teaches us as outdoorsmen sometimes. God almost always teaches me or reminds me of something about Him or His word when I am hunting. Keep following those tacks!
