Todays My 25th Anniversary

But we celebrated yesterday...I bought some back strap off of a beef.Fillet Mignon..

I had the butcher cut it up in 1 " steaks and invited a few close relatives..MAN! that is some good eatting.

Anyway..it's been 25 great years with my wife..She has 1 more week off before going back to school. She had surgery just before Thanksgiving.She presently seems to be doing very well.

I'll be playing catch up I'm sure this week and will not get on the scales till next Sunday..as I had 2 1/2 of those juicy steaks..

Congrats to you and your bride. By the way, my bride and I's 33rd anniversary was Saturday. We are currently in the Tampa Bay area for two weeks celebrating with our families. From what I hear from back home, Indiana, we picked a good time to be here. Back there temps are in the single digits with plenty of snow and ice. Anyway, wasn't trying to steal your thunder. I hope you and your wife have at least 50 more years together and then we'll go from there.

Jim, I'll be in Tampa as well...I had to take off today as Lyn hates driving in Tampa..our son has to have a root canel.I live in Lakeland which is 40 minutes away..

Today I'm buying Lyn an electric piano..She wants to start playing some hymns..

Thanks again gents,

I love my wife in a different way now..to hard to explain..We seem for the first time in history to be in one accord spiritually..whereas the first 20 years were devoted for the kids..the last few we began making retirement plans..WELL when your health starts acting up ..our focus has been where we are spiritually and how we can with the help of God fine tune that to the glory of God..

The Lord gave me a neat nugget in which I plan to share later when I have more time.
