Default Sunday Sermonette

Good morning everyone..glad to see you all made it to church this morning with hunting season in full swing and the fish biting. God created a wonderful place or us to enjoy but i think we ought to go to church to fellowship with other Chistians and to hear God's Word preached..plesae prayfor one another..i don't know your needs but God does and He will hear and answer your prayers..
Father we thank you today for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us, as unworthy as we are yet you loved us enough to send your only Begotten Son to die on and old rugged cross for all our sins.. I ask you to richly bless each one here today and supply them with all they need.and it's in Jesus name and for Christ's sake i pray, Amen..
\
7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
9 A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
10 A divine sentence is in the lips of the king: his mouth transgresseth not in judgment.
11 A just weight and balance are the LORD's: all the weights of the bag are his work.
12 It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness: for the throne is established by righteousness. Proverbs16:7-12 kjv..

The way we live and act in the world which God places us, can make a big difference to those we come in contact with. God wants us to walk the path that He has for us and even in the days before the Holy Spirit came to permanently indwell those called by Him, those who were to carry out great things for God were given the Spirit of God to accomplish the task and then the Spirit was removed. Not so for us today who have heard the call of God and surrendered our lives to Him. When we become a child of God, then we have the Holy Spirit as a part of our life for always, isn't it great to know we have someone to lead us thruought the storms of life and brin eace to a troubld soul? Now we can grieve or quench the Holy Spirit by doing what we want and in our way other than God's way, but we can honor God by allowing the Spirit to direct our paths and leaning upon the words He puts into our mouths. remember the prophet Isa. said,"There is a way that seems right unto man bu the end thereof is death."
The message in verse seven above carries as much weight today as ti did in the Old Testament times. If God is with you, then God will watch over you and take care of you.
Remember Abraham when he had Sarah tell the me she was his sister and the king wanted her as a wife. What did God tell the king? You can get upset with him and tell him off, but you shall not hurt him. Goes the same for us in the world God has called us to live in. so you see, no matter what we do God will forgive a repentent heart.. There are great changes occurring daily and you and I must learn to trust God and walk where He wants us. If we do that, then we may very well have peace with our enemies, but even more important, you will be walking with our God and that is the best place to be..
Have a great week-end and a wonderful Turkey day and don't eat too much..God bless you all..
