I would appreciate prayers my Brothers and Sisters. I just found out today that Martin's (my best friend from high school and beyond) brother Steve is in very bad shape in the hospital and has said he does not expect to leave the hospital. He is saved (GLORY) and has requested I do his service when that time comes. I will be visiting him and family there this evening. I think the world of Steve and his Mother, sister and brother and this will be difficult for me.
Please pray for Steve and his family.
Martin is not saved and has not been to see Steve, probably due to watching his Dad die in a hospital. Pray for Martin and his salvation as well.
Thank everyone that prayed. All went well last evening. Steve faces surgery today at 1pm that the surgeon has said doesn't look good. Continued prayers appreciated.
I will be praying. My heart breaks for you, it is not easy losing a loved one even in the joy that they are saved. I will also be praying for God to strengthen you and all in your time of need.

Surgery went as well as could be expected. His chest was split open and infection cleaned out, they placed a sponge of some sort in the hole with a 'siphon' to continue to drain infection off. The part that scares me is there was nothing between the infection and his heart they just did the bypass surgery on. He was in good spirits afterwards.
