Judges 21:25 reads, "In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes."
Today is Election Day. We live in a democracy where we get to vote for our leaders on a local, state, and national level. It is a great privilege and one we should take very prayerfully. Our nation is at a cross road in so many ways. This verse could easily apply to our nation today. If everyone does what is right in his or her own eyes we are in big trouble. We must seek the Lord and His word for what is right. We are not smart enough or wise enough to know what is right. Our guide is God's Word and the Holy Spirit who guides us into all truth. Today, allow the Lord to guide you and do what is right according to Scripture not your own opinion or what the culture says but what God says.
