Default Sundy Sermonette

Another day day that God has given us and a great day it is..pray for the election coming up that the right manis elected..pray for one anothers needs, especially those who are sick and aflicted;.i pray you will receive a blessing from God's Word today...

25And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.
26And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.
27And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.
28Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.
29The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.
30And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
31But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
32And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
33And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight Numbers 13:25-33 kjv..

We read the Word and we see such stiories as these, and i don't know about you but it causes me to step back and see what God has done for me..remember that only two men over the age of twenty entered the Promised land and Moses was not one of them..Caleb and Joshua were the only two that satisfied God...... think about that and about Jesus and what He has offered to man..i know that we will say if i had of been there i would have been one of the two then i realize some of the things i do today and then it reality hits me full in my face..[ believe that too many Christians today want the milk and honey but don't want to pay the price.we are scared to speak out about Jesus, afraidcwe might make someone mad..well let me tell you,i would lots rather have you upset with me and go to heaven than to love me and go to hell..amen?.it is the blood of Jesus and what He did on the cross of Calvary that makes me right with God hey, i would have been one of the bodies left in the wilderness. my friendyou can count on havinggiants inyour life, yes more than once so.we should never take for granted what God has provided and learn that it is never the strength and power of man but the hand of God that gets us through day by day..lean on him and allow the of hand of God to direct our path.

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you today for all you have given us and i pray we will be grateful for it...we thank you most of all for Jesus and his death on the cross for our sins and the gift of eternal life if we believe and put our trust in you
in Jesus name and for Christ's sake i pray. amen...

So true Bro. Wayne. The message is certainly very appropriate for this election time.
