Default stealing

Stealing is a sin of course. What if you stole something as a kid. That item you stole you still have. What would you do besides asking forgiveness?

Give it back to start Then deal with the sin you were born with. The one we all had passed down to us from Adam.

Thats a hard one isn't it ? . . . .And yet the answer is simple. Of course you have to give it back and ask forgiveness.

We are all children of God and he saved us from sin because he loves us. We are all bound by sin but God knows what is in your heart. Believe it our not, a murderer can still make it to heaven. You mean to tell me that you do not know why Jesus died for us on the cross? I am not saying that you are automatically saved by it but you were paid for in full. Find out what it actually means to repent.

The object that you stole might have been something of little consequence to the person(s) you stole it from and they have long since forgotten about it. On the other hand, it might have been something that was treasured and its loss is a continuing source of pain for the victim(s) of the theft. Obviously, giving it back in person would be awkward and if you can not do it, find some way to return it annonomously.

It's not going to help to hold on to it. Let it go and follow Jesus.

I am going to add to this a little, by your coming out and returning the item is a testimony that would only glorify God. I say return the item, and ask them for forgiveness, let them know you learned your lesson, and that you are very sorry for it?

I would agree but they still might have to file charges. Maybe he can give it to good will depending upon the item? Or maybe it's burnable?

In the most absolute sense though, you are right however..
