I've been around awhile but not able to get on here a lot. So I'm curious, whats the most debated topic of discussion on this forum? Or what is the most heavily debated?
I see both of these to be very serious issues.
I've actually been keeping a mental notebook so when we get back on them I'd liketo share some updated verses and thoughts..Honestly though, I think this HNI group lacks the maturity to debate because so many get hurt and threads end up being deleted or blocked..I've also seen some of these topics ..pan out..or seem to come to a good solid end..yet no matter what eveidence shown ..folks won't change their ideas..probably because that would mean they have been in error and that would be scary to think the light in any of us is really darkness ..
In reality..none of us are robots..God works in us and because of that there will be some confusion..why?..because we are part of the reasoning process and we are not perfect.
I thought we argued over who was the best looking one on here, and bro Wayne won, he cheated he send in Rebels picture as himself.
There's not much disagreement on things, we just seem to view things differently, which only creates an earnest desire to dig deeper in the word. Iron sharpens Iron.

Those two certainly have led to long heated debates. But I would have to say that to me without a doubt the most hotly debated doctrine has been baptismal regeneration. Some of those debates dragged on for weeks. Seems like everyone likes to get the last word in.
Bring any of them on..my heart has been renewed and I'm ready and full and yet wise enough to not say hurtful things to bring reproach on the name of Christ.

Okey . . . .I agree that the oneness doctrine is a very serious issue. Maturity to debate it is not a problem to me , if a person can only respond ignorantly I won't discuss with them.
So , are you saying that the light that a oneness believer has is really darkness?

That is not what i meant..plus that would go against the rules of the forum and my own integrity.There are 2 differnet things going on in my relpy.
1. I mentioned IMHO what i thought the 2 heaviest debates have been.
2. No matter what is debated none of us ..me included would ever like to admit thattheir walk has been in error..
For me..I thnk the Eternal Security doctrine has plenty of scripture to debate against..The oneness ..not so easy..fact nearly impossible because there are so many verese that support both views..
