Hey guys,
The Lord has been having me play about 6 hymns each morning..with all the verses you know.....Eph. 5:18..anyway it's brought so much joy and strengh into my life I got the idea of bringing in my instrumantal hymn CDs..that i play in my truck..10 out of my 17 students are ADHD..[X(]IT'S INCREDIBLE...they looked at me..smiled and just got out their library books this morning and started reading..one girl said..WOW!calm music..Praise God for "Calm music."

Kinda reminds me of the account in IIChronicles 20 when Jehoshaphat was confronted with the enemy. I know that you have probably read this before but go back and read v. 21 and 22, the worshippers actually went out before the army. There is a power that exists in praise, that even as a worship leader, I don't fully understand. All I know is that when we begin to praise, the enemy begins to flee.

Davids playing of the instrument and his worship, had a positive effect upon Saul. IMO one of the reasons for the decayind condition of the worl, our nation, the churches, and the home, is the failure to maintain a worshipful heart. That lead to fertile breeding ground for sin in the life of the individual, and encourages others to follow our sinful ways. Living epistles will be worshippers of God.

Jim, on my lunch break I've been absorbing Numbers 13 and 14 the Caleb and Joshua episode..I eat with my kids so they get blessed too.Next week I'll study those scriptures in Chrionicles you mentioned..God has been really teaching me on this..APprecitae the responces guys..the music is still playing and there is peace in my classroom

David praised himself out of his depression, I find that I don't praise enough, I pray a lot, but God's been convicting me of not enough praise.

Well I started this morning in praise..It was wonderful

I put some quiet hymns on in the classroom,,surprizing ly the kids liked it..

My neighbor has been driving me nuts with trash everywhere..I took pictures yesturday and was planning on calling Code Enforcer..The Lord prompted my heart.."Or you could chooseto forgive and let it go." I did and felt fine..

After a fine dinner I started up my outboard to make sure it would start for tomorrow,,,it did so Matt and I are going crappie fishing tomorrow..

I just got tempted so I poured my self a nice tall mug of diet root beer..and I grabbed a raw.carrot out of the frig..

I also did a little wood work and planted some more jalopean peppers in the garden.My wife is making Jalopean pepper jelly tomorrow.and now it's time to say goodnight..
