Good morning all and welcom once again to our church on the net..I ask you to pray for one another as i know we ar all in need of prayer..so sit back and glean from his mornings message that what God has for you and be blessed..
Father thank you for loving us while we were yet unlovable..thank you for your wonderful mercy and most of all thank you fo Calvary..and it's in Jesus name i pray amen..
13And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?
14But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
15But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
16Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.
17For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
18For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.
21The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him. 1 Peter 3:13-22 kjv..
i dare say most of us have the attitude that when it comes to suffering. there is no problem as long as it is mot affecting me. Yes, one must suffer to grow, but I am one of those who can do this without suffering. unfortunately that is not what Scripture has to say about suffering and what the follower of Christ will go through. consider what the Lord went through and we know that He should never had gone through any suffering, yet He willingly went where the Father wanted Him to go. without the suffering of the cross, His Death and resurrection, we would not be the people we are today. PRAISE GOD we serve a risen Saviour The Spirit of God dwells within us and through His indwelling, we are able to face whatever comes our way. wt the time before as we may have to contemplate what is going to happen, we may be very scared and much trembling, but the Word tells us that He will NEVER leave or FORSAKE His children in whatever they are going through. what we need to understand is that suffering and heartache are things that God does truly understand about. He suffered through the Cross. Tne prophet Isaiah says of Him, "He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed".this my friends was done for our benefit that we, by trusting in Him can have eternal life in heaven..He felt the pain of His Son being nailed upon the Cross. He felt all because He was there. I know that it blows my mind that God could do so for a wretched old sinner like me, but by the Spirit of God, we can do all things through Him. a rough day, week or month may be before us, but we can make it through with His help and His Hand on us. Trust in Him and allow Him to speak to you through His Word and may you be strengthened in Him for whatever lies before.us.

"There's room at the cross for you."
Amen brother Wayne. There comes a time in my ministry that I have to explain tofolk that sometimes bad things happen to good people. Suffering is a part of life, and when we stay focused on Him like Job did, it helps us through those trying times whereby we become stronger.
Thank you very much for sharing this. I think these times call for all of these scriptures to be repeated in our minds often to help us & strengthen us.
