Default Have any of you done this before?

Have any of you ever been driving and you got over taken by the Spirit so much that you had to pull off the road for fear of having a wreck? This morning while driving to work in the dark, very early on winding country road I started praying in the Spirit, I was so over taken by His presence that I started to weep and frankly I guess you could say I was probably a danger to others. It was an awesome experience, one that I will remember for a long time. I do pray every day in the car, but this morning was one of those of those Holy Ghost visits that leave a lasting impression. Have any of you ever done this while driving? What do you tell the policeman when you have a wreck, I was drunk on new wine? ..
While I was praying, seemed like the Holy Spirit would let me know of a curve ahead, once there was a car that didn't stop at a stop sign and I knew he wasn't going to. It wasn't a close call or anything like that, but I slowed down knowing that he wasn't going to stop. Itwas like the Holy Spirit was alerting me to the driving conditions. What an awesomeexperience.

No, I have never been visited by the Holy Ghost in my car or anywhere else. I used to pray a lot as a child but never had any indication or feeling there was anybody listening.

Yep . . .For some reason when I'm driving alone I often have some of my best fellowship with the Lord. Maybe it's because it's not out of dicipline or routine.

I often pray in the Spirit while driving, but this one was an exceptional experience.

Rev,

Yes that's happened to me and His presence is awesome. Even though you make it your habit to pray each day, sometimes our Heavenly Father just wants to take us in his arms and love on us a little bit. I would almost bet you were praising Him at the time. I wish everyone could experience that awesome presence on a regular basis. To be honest with you, it's almost like a drug, the more you experience it, the more you crave it.

Blessings.....Pastorjim
