Default Sunday Sermonette

Good morning everyone and welcome to church on the net..hope all is well at your house..you know but thanks be to God He gives us that hope that passes on into eternity things on this earth may never get much better but we have a future in Heaven and that's for sure..I thank God for that day when i went to the foot of the cross and was gloriously saved and now have that everlasting hope of a home in Heaven..we live in a hopeless world for the most part..this messae this morning is short but hopefully it will be an encougagement to someone..please continue to pray for one another as i know we all need prayer and we do serve a God that answers prayer

Father we thank you for that blessed hope you have so freely given us if we would just put our trust and faith in you.Father we pray for those who do not have that hope as we do and maybe someone here today is seeking for something better in their lives and if so i pray that they will turn to you and receive that hope..thank you for your love and your mercy and it's inJesus name and for Christ's sake i pray,,AMEN

11For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13Looking for that BLESSED HOPE, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee
Titus 2:11-15 kjv.

I know what it feels like to be hopeless and to realize that if you died right now you would end up in hell..i was in church all my life since birth. as a teenager i taught a sunday school class and sometimes led the singing..i sang in a quartet, and had a pretty good tenor voice..but i wasn't saved until one sunday when i was 13 years old, my great uncle came to me during invitation time and we went to an old fashioned alter and i was born again and i was filled with that hope that one day i would go to heaven..yes in just a matter of minutes hopelessness turned into hope..what joy filled my soul..that wa 6o plus years ago..oh i wish i had been faithful all those years but i wasn't..i joined the Navy on my 17th birthday and my life changed for the worsrt.. i was out of the wil of God and no blessings was coming my way..then nearly 40 years ago i quite drinking, smoking and have not touched either since..i eventualy got back in chuch and God started blessing me tremendously in my business in our marriage and in all aspects of life.
I am sure you have seen those young people partying with smokes in one hand and a beer in the other and one laughs and says,"It don't get any better than this." sooner or later it will ruin their health because sin will take it's toll. 0.true, for those lost in sin it don't get any better.how about you? do you have that blessed hope ? if not why don't you accept it now..i promise you, you will never be sorry.

Now i've a HOPE that will surely endure
After the passing of time;
I have a future in heaven i'm sure,
There in those mansions sublime.
And because of that wonderful day,
When at the cross I believed
Riches eternal and blessings supernal
From His precious hand i received...

Father may thy sweet Holy Spirit have free will in heart and lives here today..we thank you and love you and it's i Jesus name we pray, AMENly Spirit ....

Excellent word brother Wayne. I think too many of us have done the same thing and strayed from the Word! But thank God for that Holy Spirit that never gave up on us, never took His eyes off us, never quit loving us when we were so unlovable, persuaded us to let the scales fall off our eyes... OH, Gory!!!

As I sit here looking out over the lake view of what God has blessed me with, tears are running down my cheeks as I think howI walked away to live the way I wanted, yet He took me back under His loving wing without a single word of admonishing.

King David was an adulterer, and a murderer, yet he was called by God, a man after His own heart. While Gods People may have their fleshful bodies seduced by the world, their eternal souls were set aside for eternal life in eternity past.

Gods Promise is that their salvation is guaranteed, and will not fade away. Perhaps nothing angers Satan more, than to know this.
