Default I didn't go to church on Sunday.

My sons and I spent the weekend at my lake house and we played hooky from church this Sunday morning and went fishing.. I've been bragging on the other forums so I thought I'd show you guys the ones that didn't get away.. they are white and yellow bass... only kept the larger ones, we caught over 200 in three hours. They school like that two times a year on the lake we are on.

We did catch about 15 striper's, they usually run under schooling bass and catch the falling or wounded shad. We were using slabs fishing low, it was awesome when we latched on to a striper. I broke off two of them. Our lake record for striperis 50 pounds, but we had golden algae hit the lake six years ago and killed off a lotof fish, soI release all thelarge mouth and stripers.Crappie are making a come back too. It's good to see our lake producing fish again. It is a big lake, it has 310 miles of shoreline.

These Ireleased ingrease..

nice catch Rev. but that sure is a job to clean a catch like that, unless you can talk somebody into doing it for you..

Using an electric knife I can fillet each fish in less than a minute.I also had that many on Saturday to clean, but I don't mind it. I've spent too many days fishing and not catching.

Here's one I threw back... [:@]

Well that does it for me, no more wasting time at church on Sundays for me. Way to set the example Rev! [8D]

I was actually field testing my flip flops to see if I could walk on water. When that failed then we decided to fish. And we did baptized that nasty ole buffalo shown above.

Rev,

My advice to you about walking on water is to wait until it's a little colder. If it's cold enough, anyone can walk on water. Just a thought!

Blessings, even on the lake, Pastorjim
