I really should have written sooner, but I rarely sign in anymore. I read the threads that interest me, but signing in is an ordeal since my home computer is pretty much shot and I'm on dial-up. At work, I have DSL, but usually not enough time.
Anyways . . .
I had to wait 2 weeks after the surgery for the biopsy results to come back (the Dr. called me one morning on my cell while I was sitting in a treestand - against his orders). There was NO sign of any kind of malignancy - PRAISE GOD! There does seem to be a lump there that wasn't removed. I told the Dr about it and he examined it, but felt that it shouldn't be a problem. We'll take another ultrasound of it in a month or so.
Now I'm back to bowhunting with the OK from the Dr. Even better news is thata Lt. at work told me he saw a HUGE buck last night just after 6pm that was just a couple hundred yards from my back yard. I had already planned on being a the same stand where I killed a nice 12 point last year on Monday morning. Now, I feel a little better about it. If they only would eat the food plots I worked so hard in this year . . .
I really appreciate your prayers guys. I never got too worried. I know that God is in charge and you all had my back in prayer. Thanks again.
