Psalm 103:10He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. 11For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. 12As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. 13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. 14For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
Ps. 139: 1. O Lord, You have searched me and you know me.
2. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.
3. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.
4. Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O Lord.
5. You hemme in, behind and before; you have laid your hand upon me.
6. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to obtain.
7. Where can I go from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?
8. If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
9. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea,
10. even ther your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.
11. If I say, "Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,"
12.even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shinelike the day, for darkness is as light to you.
13. for you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.
14. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
15. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
16. your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them cameto be.
17. How precious to meare your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them!
18. Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand. When I am awake, I am still with you....
23. Search me O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
"I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth!"

And another favorite that I try to apply to my own life is Acts 4:13......"And they took note that these men had been with Jesus."
When others see and hear us, and they take note that we are Christians, do they get a favorable impression of Jesus? I have to ask myself this question continuously. Yikes!!

1st. Peter 1:
18Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
Old Testament: Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
New Testament: Act 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Also: Mar 16:6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.

i don't really have a "favorite" i enjoy most all old and new testament, some are harder for me to get a grip on than others (Revelations)[&:], so i just read them over-and-over, to hopefully get a better understanding..
but if i had to pick one it would be:
john 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

It is our attitude at the beginning of a difficult task which, more than anything else, will affect its successful outcome.
William James
Heb 11:6 But without Faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him
Mark 11:22,23 So Jesus answered and said to them, "have Faith in God. For assuredly, I say unto you, whosoever shall say to this mountain, Be thou removed and be cast into the seas and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will come tom pass, he will have whatever he says.
Col 2:6,7 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.
