Default Sunday Sermonette

Good morning and welcome to our service. Anotner month has passed so we that much closer to tne Lords return.. are you ready if he should come today? i pray you are. pray for the many needs of one another that God's will be done..
Father i pray that thy sweet Holy Spirit will move hearts today and it's in Jesus nameand for Christ sake i pray

1The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.
2Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.
3To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.
4An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.
5The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.

All too often we look at the world around and see only the world and all the heartache and sadness that comes from a world wracked by sin. We become overwhelmed by what we see and then forget that someone is truly in control. As individuals we would love to see a world dominated by goodness and mercy, yet in many instances we see a world overcome by meanness and self-centeredness. This is when we really need to step back and take a real hard look at what we know and think about God. He is not the feeble minded and ineffective God many view Him as. He does not have the attributes of man which allow Him to punish one individual because he has been 'bad' and reward another because he has been 'good'. No, God is the One who is always in control and He desires that His creation come to an understanding that completely encompasses man's need for a to Him. That way is ONLY Jesus Jesus himself made it very cleae when He said,"I am the way ,the truth, and the life, man cometh to the Father, but by me." John 14 :6 . There is no one else who can fulfill that responsibility and there will never be another that we need look to apart from Jesus. Remember that God is looking at verse 3 above and truly desires what we do and how we do it to come from a changed heart that acknowledges Jesus as Savior. Keep your eyes upon Him and regardless of what is going on around you, the path will truly honor God in the way we act and react to things that come our way.

Father we thank you that you gave us a way to come unto you by sending your Son to that old rugged cross that through his death we can have eternal lif if we but believe and trust inyou.
it's in Jesus name i pray
