From the biological standpoint, the child becomes a living human being at conception. Okay, that little glob of cells slowly developing into something resembling a baby is not very esthetically pleasing. But it is still a living creature. No further discussion is needed.
That little conglomeration of cells inside my mom, when she conceived, was me.

Are we looking for a reason to nurture the living thing, or to kill and destroy what God has allowed to experience live?
The Holy Ghost overshadowed Mary and she concieved but aborted the fetus----after all an unmarried woman should be with child.

Jeremiah 1:5Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
I believe everyconception is God ordained, telling me that abortiontrys to destroy God's plan, not to mention that it is murder.

Science does not definewhat is asoul or even if one exists. There is a period after fertilization (I think it is less than 64 cells) when you can divide the group and they will form two identical twins. Do they have two souls before or after this event? If this is done in a lab, has the lab tech created a soul? Which soul was the original and which one was created? You can take one of the divided groups and divide it again before it reaches this threshold with the same result.

My position on abortion is that I am very much against it. I am also against the mocking and denigration of science. Please cite the journal article, textbook or other source where the assertion is made that science has proved the bumble bee can not fly.
