Thank you for your thoughtfulness. Miriam very much enjoys when we sing to her. I'm not sure if I should be jealous, but she seems to enjoy it the most when my mom sings to her in ***anese. The Oriental musical scale is different and she seems to really like it.

I maybe would be a bit jealous but I would be glad for the relationship they have. And I would imagine part of why she likes it is because it is different. That is one of the first things I learned with babies is if they are crying doing something different or out of the ordinary captures their attention and gets them thinking about something else. That is why some people when kids cry pretend to hurt themselves, babies just think it's funny.
