well another week has gone by and Jesus hasn't come yet but keep looking up and prayed up for He's coming one day..please pray for one another's needs..Jesus says you get not if you ask not and nothing is too small or too big for our GOD..
Father we thank you that you are a God that hears and answers prayer..thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed upon us..we love you and are looking forward with joy to that day when we shall meet you face to face..now bless each and everyone that reads thy Word and may it fill a need in each heart here..this we ask in Jesus precious name..Amen
Paul in his letter to his young preacher boy Timothy, is talking about things that was and things that will be..and we can sure see it now can't we? I have seen in my 79 years a fast decline in our great USA and around the world..dear friends, keep prayed up and looking up, He's coming soon..are you ready?
1This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.. 2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV.
As you read the Scripture and consider the words written hundreds of years ago, it sure sounds like our day and time don't it. Yet if you asked believers down through time, they would have felt the same way about the day and age they lived in. In fact, if you asked the apostles and disciples of the day in which Jesus lived and walked, they probably had this gut feeling that He was going to come back in their day due to how bad things were. Yet, God's timing and our timing are two different things. We are to live and be a part of this world as sharers of the Good News..that's why it's so important that we don't get caught up in the ways of the world and forget why we are here.. but are not to be so busy making money and buying better things that, we do not want the Son to return. let's be honest, most sin is fun and it's so easy to detour off the straight and narrow path and go the world's way..I hate to turn on the TV. anymore because all you see is sex, drugs and people drinking old john barley corn..right here in this small town of sanfiord there are drug sellers everywhere and prostitutes walking the streets selling their bodies..an eight year old boy robbed a store the other day with a BB gun..8 years old!! another 10 year old raped an eight year old in school..why is this happening?? because they have thrown God out of the schools.. but rest assured, one day there will be a payday and we kow it won't be long.. We know that we are closer to His return than yesterday and each minute that ticks by brings us that much closer to the day He will return. If we are keeping our eye on Him, then whether he returns now or in another day or 2 years or 10 years, it will not matter. You and I are to be about His work and being the light which is poured forth by those who know Him. We do not want any of that godliness that comes at the end of our Scripture which is generated by man and is only the person and not the Spirit of God working through our lives. All that stuff against God's will, will burn in that day when the firs of God touches all that is not from God.
Yes we need to be about the Fathers business, preaching thr gospel to the lost..Amen? one of my favorite verses is Matthew 5:16,
"Let your light So shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven." can others see Jesus in you? I can remember as a young lad when i did my home work with the light from a coal oil lamp..we didn't have electricty then, too poor..the wick would burn down and get to smoking and you could hardle see so i had to clean it up and put in a new wick..that's what happens to us when we are in the world, our eys get clouded from the sin and we have to get our selves cleaned up by the Word of God..that's why it is so important we go to church regulary..the bible says that the BLOOD of Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin..oh thank God for a wonderful Saviour..
Father i thank you for being there to clean us up and to show us the way..Father if there is one here today that is all fogged up and without the cleansing power of Jesus , may this be their day..thank you again or all you do and what youare going to do..i pray in Jesus Christ name and for his sake,Amen..

Amen Bro Wayne. We have become a godless nation, it's going to be ugly one day. But thank God for the return of Jesus, toget us out of here. Oh what a glorious day that will be.
