Peace..you can't LIVE without it..

Well, I've been through the pressure cooker for three days..The Lord reminded me..Didn't you pray to be Christ like , righteous and godly??Now let's look..."They that will be godly shall suffer persecution..." and " Many are the afflictions of the righteous." and "Don't think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is trying you.." IF you suffer with Him ye shall be gloried together with Him."

ok ,,,after 3 days I've learned to not resist..but to trust..but trying telling thatto my nerves..with life's rolling waves smashing about..and the Lord reminded me this morning." But I say unto you love your enemies, bless them that curse you and persecute you. so this morning I tried to stop controlling and swirming and like Christ took my cross ..Like Paul and Silas I began singing Psalms at home on my guitar.and guess what..about 8:15 AM the Lord spoke to my storm..and in my soul is peace..and he promiced me it would stay forever.."Not as the world giveth give I unto you" For the world can not take away our peace..And although the storm beat and continued to rage all morning ..honestly I had a still lake with gulls flying over it all morning..It was like God lifted me into another zone..Peace is one thing that can never be faked..and I realized you can't have peace until you go through suffering..and if your desire is to live Christlike you will face a world of suffering..BUT His peace will keep a smile on your face that will baffle the enemies..Some promices He remindd me of this morning..The angel of the Lord encampeth around them who fear Him..and " He will never let you go through more than you can bear." His peace remaineth,

"And the peace that passes all understanding shall keep your hearts through Christ Jesus OUR Lord."

My wife reminded me of a story she had read about a saintly women who had been brutally attacked and robbed. When the the police came and ask her for a discription of her attackers..she replied, " I don't know. I wasn't there." Now that my friend is peace..

August 15th,

Some observations that I've noticed with my new found peace.

--Fear is not present with peace.

-- You are constantly preaching the gospel..by your stedfastness and patience

---It is of God..this one can't be faked or worked..peace comes by grace

--it brings a 100% confidence of eternal life.

--my inner peaceful lake has grown to an ocean..which over comes life's strong winds and rip tides..

..it's no longer a boat in the middle of the water ..but Jesus stands in the midst of a stilled ocean with a peaceful smile..

..I have a new inner vision daily frommy inner man ..one of hopeand full of life

--I only desire to hear music that enhances peace..
-- I now have a constant annointing as I share Christ..

--I sense His power when I pray like never before

-- You hate and abhor sin as..it destroys peace..therefore "Guard your heart with ALL diligence for out of it proceed the issues of life." KEY..."Cast ALL your cares upon Him."

My friends "God is not the author of confusion but of peace.""Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. "

Amen my friend..My whole school just had an inservice on stress..The instructure is a Christian and said.." 10 % of stress is outward 90% is inward..I then raised my hand and shared my testimony..In the last 1/2 hour I was ableto share Christ with 2 teachers with needs..I was trying to go through the day without instructing anymore..and just basking in His presence..but I 'll share a little more..Peace is a fruit of the Spirt..along with good ole JOY

and Love and the rest..Keith..God is wonderously changing my heart..I don't want to ever take His presense for granted my friend.In peace we share the Gospel of Peace..It's very difficult selling a product if we don't possess it ourselves..Sharing Christ is a 1000 times easier now..

it actually comes natural.

What are the storms in your life today? I have storms in mine of some form each and every day. The longer I attempt to control them the more out of control they spin. Jesus said to the disciples, "You of little faith, why are you afraid?" These folks that were afraid were the very all star team that He had handpicked, his disciples. Doubt is disbelief, and delayed obedience is disobedience. In the storms do I only see the danger and miss My Savior? The disciples, who had been hanging out with Jesus, turned immediately to their knowledge of the sea. When the storms are raging, or just starting to form, turn to Jesus, focus up instead of around. What a Glorious Merciful God we serve. Though I may be in the stormy seas, the turbulent winds, I know that both the sea and the wind are in the Palm of God's Hand.

This was the devotional on another forum. I second this scripture because of the storms in my life I suffer from persecution from time to time. What reallysaddens my heart are the ones that speak out against God publically on a daily basis on this other forum. I know what my Lord wants me to do and sometimes I don't, I resist like Chuck said and it always becomes more entangled. I pray for you my brothers and sisters that He will use you for Hisglory. Amen

And be it known..they were still His children..still saved..the only difference..fear destroys our quality of life..

Well..by the grace of God I've stopped resisting..Resisting brings sin, frustration , heart failure. hatred, malice, murder, rage, a wreckless spirit...BUT finding the secret place of the Almighty brings, peace, faith, strong confidence, joy, safety, rest..

Brothers ..I spent the entire summer fasting , praying, striving to do be a doer abiding in HIs Word....and peace was not a reality ..simply a Word..my nerves were shot.when the storm came..I thought what is wrong..I've been doing everything I know to do. Then last Monday..I sensed God speaking Peace to my heart..I have not been the same since..I'm forever grateful fo rHis grace in mercy in my life..When I sleep and awake..it's still there..My style of music has changed ..my hunting will tone up as I desire only FAST kills..I live to bring peace and not cause waves to others..I've lost count of the many doors that Christ has opened for me to share Christ this week..I feel like that living water is in me. I'm sure there will come a time "When it's no longer I that live now..BUT Christ that liveth in me."
